I couldnt do 1 in 1 hour of practice, because i was always 1 or 2 frames late. I started to press 2 the same time when down and did it 6 times in a row. U good sir made my day! Liked and well done
Dude… you are the GOAT for this. So many people have made Electric guides but yours is literally the only one that has genuinely helped me out within like… 5 minutes after me using your advice. My electric percentage literally went from 15% to 80% in minutes. So many people try to film their hands while they do it to show the timing but it never works and it’s just not effective for me. I tried to learn electrics in 7 and I quit cuz that game pissed me off😂 so thank you so much, this is the first video to break it down in such a simple and effective way that actually works.
Thanks! Holy moly, everyone just says do this and that but no one tells me how to actualy learn it, I know how to do it but I didn't know how to learn it. Many thanks, this keeps my hopes up. The hint on the input history was worth gold for me.
Thank you, useful. I've been playing 30 years, never put in the time - 3 wave dashes took me 5 min to learn and I'm I'm one in 10 electric, about time... loving the new hitbox style controllers.
Been looking for this exact tip for reina all day, newish to fighters and had a hard time with the timing of her electric. The only time I could get it right is only in heat state. Thank you!
In heat all ur wind step moves are auto electric ⚡️. For timing just try pressing the button you want when you press down instead of down-forward. It comes out way more often
Lmaoooo poor guy thought he was getting the timing right in heat😭😭 I’m sorry I’m not making fun of you I promise but that’s so funny that you thought you were doing it right when you were heat. It’s okay bro if I didn’t watch the tutorials I’d probably think that too
You are amazing. I’ve been trying to hit 2 when I hit Down forward. You said to hit two the moment you hit down. I actually did the electric now just me practicing. Thank you very much.
@@The_Keyboard_Warrior further clarification. its press "2" before down + forward? is that like, buffing the 2 so we can input down+forward in the same frame? ive been having mixed results from pressing "down+2" at the same time before pressing forward. pressing down before 2 into forward have been more of a success but idk. maybe im over thinking it
this is tutorial that i need Im currently on controller but i got your keypoint while everybody not talking about "you were missing about a keyframe so make sure you always watch your command history" so i've tried again and again now im pretty much almost consistent to get EWGF
If u really want to praxtice ewgf, u can go with reina. U hear some thunder sound, that means… there is the button u should have pressed for the perfect time.
Very good tutorial, I spent an evening messing with it with no successful inputs. I was a little offended by the 30sec tutorial clips basically saying "Just do the move, and thats how you EWGF BYE!" Literally from your explanation I was able to input it 3 times in a row. Excellent job!
Press down and 2 at the same time when doing f, N, d d/f. it'll buffer the 2 and the electric will register d/f and 2 at the same time even tho you pressed down and 2 at the same time
I honestly think the ps5 controller is part of the issue because the dpad buttons are not separate due to how its made and when you press a direction too hard it might press a different direction instead causing it to miss press and read it properly. I have a astro c40 for the ps4 and the buttons are like the xbox controller and are way more accurate and precise.
Bc of you in just a few minutes of training I started to execute them more consistently thank you so much for this! Definitely liked and you sir earned my sub 👍🏽

have a like from me (its something special, i almost never like videos) good video so thanks for this now i understand why my dorya is a normal uppercut
the most annoying part about this is the best counter to the kick spammers, its instant and even if they manage to dodge it they get blown off away from you significantly. I want to pull it off without spending my heat gauge but idk where to use it anyway so i just activate it when i notice they just start spamming kicks.
Much easier said then done. I literally have to hyper focus on my hand and controller to make sure I press 2 and down and it only comes out 60% of the time. Though there was once one time I did 3 electrics in a row but that’s because I was hyper focusing on my hand imputing the motions
You can actually study how muscle memory works by looking at someone learning electrics. For me it was like "My brain is thinking without thinking, I'm a happy monkey"
Another thing ive been doing to get them way more offten is after the dash i hit the punch button for the command and ill hit it again after words so almost like spamming it. Its not perfect but ive been getting waaaay more electrics now
I was considering buying an arcade stick because I heard that the stick can do EWGF easier than hitbox(idk if it’s true),but I guess I’m gonna continue using hitbox after I watched your video!
BTW, Kazuya’s EWGF can be done in the new mode by pressing 2 in tekken8, is that a good option? I quickly switch to the new mode when I want to do it and then quickly switch back to classic mode, which I only need to press three buttons.
