    Nice vid. Putting 3+2 on left bumper works for me too, consistent ewgf. It doesn't make sense to me though. I can't do ewgf just by pressing 2 (y) on my xbox controller, even though I'm doing the exact same timing

    Why does every person explain it different . You have people saying press forward , then neutral and then down + forward together and then 2 . Then others say forward , then neutral then a swiping down forward motion and then 2 . What’s it actually supposed to be ? Is the proper way pressing the buttons singular or a swipe motion or pressed together ? Different people are saying different things

      On a DPad on console picking your thumb up from Down and then hitting D+F in two motions isn't consistent if you have fat thumbs. That's why some people hit down then slightly roll their thumb to achieve d+F after

    Just a little tip guys who are playing queen Reina. When she wave dashes. Electricity sparks at her feet. That’s the exact moment you need to press 2+3 or 2. Be mindful that it also has a sound as well to help with learning the timing. You may not see the electricity depending on customization seems like tho. See you online 🎉

    My brother at first, I was getting really discouraged, not knowing how to help myself.
    Even after watching your video, I was stuck at the exact same point of execution struggling to master it but then I kept reading through the comments of the other players making use of remapping 2+3 to a single button for instance (which I do frankly a lot for my mains individually), seeing real success.
    I didn’t want to give up.
    The amount of positive comments made me reconsider my work- and training ethic, so I kept going.
    My EWGF Rate has 100x now through mapping 2+3 on Reina to L1 and I’m almost always guaranteed to hit + multiple follow ups after 1 1/2 Hour of practicing!!! 👊🏼
    In the future I might be able to find a different method or do ut the OG way with a Hitbox or something similar but for now, I’m perfectly fine.
    Also, it’s training my coordination skills with my left hand! :D
    You made my life significantly easier and better!
    Thanks a lot mate!

    • @Alex-vr9vh
      @Alex-vr9vh 7 месяцев назад

      in heat mode you don't need to do the "just frame". everything will become eletrics.

    • @swordhunter12
      @swordhunter12 7 месяцев назад

      Its possible that this method simply doesn't work for you. I've found the best way to learn is to pay close attention to your input history, on the left side of the screen.
      If you see down-forward, and a number before down-forward 2 (example: ↘️ 6) that means you've missed the input by that many frames. Try hitting the input in various ways, and recording how many frames off you were each time. The lower the number next to ↘️, the closer you are to the sweet spot.
      Personally, the technique that worked most consistently for me was to go to press 2 and down at the same time, starting from the bottom left corner of the down button. (Just a warning though, this will hurt the first few times you do it)
      Once you've found the method that seems the most consistent, you just need to practice it. I try to practice around 50 or more WGFs a day, if I can. When you feel you can do the Electric regularly, start practicing it in wavedashes and combos as well. It may take months to get it consistent, and even longer to get it down in matches, but you'll get there in time.

    I'm new to Tekken so I don't really understand the game well.
    Isn't this literally a DP motion?

    • @Sheenulus
      @Sheenulus 7 месяцев назад

      It’s a DP motion, yes, with a few caveats.
      First, the neutral input for at least is mandatory with electrics, even for Kazuya (who doesn’t need to do the D input).
      In most games, you don’t need to have that neutral input for DPs, see: Guilty Gear, Street Fighter.
      Second, unlike DP, this isn’t really a “special” that can be cancelled into from normals or buffered on block, the first “forward” input MUST be input when your character is free to move.
      It’s more useful to think of it as a “stance” move, the arrow/movement inputs are for the stance (formally referred to as Wind God Step, but mostly just called Crouch Dash/Wavedash/CD). To get the perfect electric input, you need to hit the “2” attack on the same frame you enter the stance. This is also intuitive for thinking about the rest of the inputs from crouch dash, such as hellsweep (CD4), and CD+1 (a mid and in Jin’s case, a mid launcher). The “just frame” property also applies to Jin’s CD+1, for better follow-ups on hit (it gives him less recovery on hit, but on block the frame advantage is the same).

    I don't understand the why the timing for 2+3 differs with just 2? But will try this definitely

    • @aligr3224
      @aligr3224 7 месяцев назад

      it doesnt really make a difference in timing, it makes it easier for him to press a quick succesion of buttons with one hand instead of cordinating both his hands, as he explained in the vid

    Im trying to play kazuya do I need to learn both inputs for his electric? Or could I just learn the f * df2 only since its easier? I find it hard to do the f*d,df2 version. Will I be able to do all the dash,wave dash and deep dash electrics with only the f*df2 version

      Yes, f*df will give you a consistent wave dash.

  • @fady5642

    Doing that crazy quick dash : So is it you press forward and then quarter circle ie f+d and then forward again? Are we not pressing down before f+d?

    • @Akaraien

      If you want to wavedash its f n d df f n f and you just rinse and repeat that input

    New player here, I was practicing ewgf for like 1 hour and only got it done once. With the input change trick I got it a lot of times, even 3 times in a row. Didnt expect executing it with one hand to make such a difference. Great advice

    does this also works on keyboard or hitbox controller ? thanks

    • @aligr3224
      @aligr3224 7 месяцев назад +1

      the intended input is easier with a hitbox, making the tip about 2+3 redundant but yes

      Yeah, it's a just frame. So it's all about timing. Just think of it like a soul calibur 6 just frame

    Very nice explain boss but brother i have a question because iam controller player i dont know how to do df alone properly i do it by luck its registered as ddf in the d pad i dont know how every time i input df right every single time i hope to do a tutorial in slow motion how to input in the d pad please boss because i like mishima play style but i need to do the perfect electric when i press f neutral df it registered as f +df +f

    • @AlexanderGontarev
      @AlexanderGontarev 7 месяцев назад

      i have the same situation. i'm still can't use electric in a battle, but you can try another way. Press d+3, and then df+2(or df+3), do it slowly

    • @monyet82
      @monyet82 7 месяцев назад +1

      I am using controller too. But here to keep in mind in check for ewgf controller. f n d, df + 2. Since before df is d, you just need to keep in mind keep holding the d and then press f with 2. it will become df + 2. I hope you understand what I meant and it takes practice for timing. Watch the feedback if you fail. the feeback will tell you if you press 2 too fast or otherwise. Hope it helps.

    Is this supposed to be somehow harder than a dp?

    • @bignoob2726
      @bignoob2726 5 месяцев назад

      No I don't know what the hardness is. Perfect electric is hard because it's a just frame, requires very precise timing

    • @Nonlifting_breezy
      @Nonlifting_breezy 5 месяцев назад

      @@bignoob2726 ok so it’s harder than a dp because it’s just not the motion you have to have a frame where no directions are being touched then.

    • @bignoob2726
      @bignoob2726 5 месяцев назад

      @@Nonlifting_breezy it's, f, neutral, (df+2 on the same frame). Basically just a normal DP, but there's a soul calibur like just frame version called perfect electric switch is 13 frames Vs non just frame which is a few frames slower. Just like in soul calibur some combos only link if you do just frame(perfect electric)

    that one hand tip os actually godlike. i play on keyboard and i can electric consistently if i use my right hand (buttons hand) to press f2 when holding down whit the left hand ( movement hand) but i have to reach for foward whit my right hand, mid combo, is a bit hard and only works on left side. ill try to map my 2+3 on Q so i can do D SD + Q (f df2+3). tysm for the tip
