I mean, poor dodging worked out for the better with Curse of the Tower and all of the bomb upgrades (including Pyromaniac which HEALS RED HEARTS)
isn't that iptack at 15:30? if you have pyromaniac you shouldnt get damaged by bombs, you could of had that as its a big damage boost last i seen on one of your video's

Lel pyromaniac + curse of the tower with more than 3 or 4 red hearts makes you basically invincible because pyro heals u when u get exploded and curse of the tower drops bombs when u get damaged

i feel like you don't know that pyromaniac makes all explosions heal you. With bomberboy you can almost heal fully by standing in the middle of a single one of your bombs, yet you had a point where you almost died.

when you are used to dodge explosions, sometimes is hard to realize you are inmune to them, and he's also talking and stuff so maybe he knows but didn't realized ^^

he forgets what he has a lot. He also had a ton of items, its easy to forget when you reach the point in the run where items don't exactly matter anymore.

Kinda like me when the final booster pack came out for console recently and I tried to unlock the forgotten. Restarted over and over and prayed for bomb immunity. Obviously, that did not happen.
you don't really need it, just go azazel and be careful to stay on the light so you can see the footstomps coming, after finishing boss rush it becomes a normal run to the lamb

Here's what you need to win... well, anything really:
Gnawed Leaf + Any auto-damage powers.
Auto-damage powers are any powers that do damage repeatedly on their own, without touching the keyboard (so no Shooter Babies, bomb upgrades, etc.). All you do is enter a room (or hit the button) then stop. You become invincible and your buddies deal all the damage. It can take forever sometimes, so not great for speed runs, but it always works.
The best auto-damage powers are: Pinking Shears (activate immediately, then stop - mostly useful for bosses and Greed Mode), Daddy Longlegs, Sissy Longlegs, Big Beautiful Fly, The Peeper, and Succubus, because they all go all over the screen. Infestation 2 also helps a lot, but you still need a damage dealer.
For this challenge, because the Bloats come to you, any orbital that does damage will help immensely; Meat/Bandage, Sacrificial Dagger, etc.
Other helpful items: Lil Haunt, Gemini, Demon Baby, the Leech, Dry Baby, and Para Fly.
like, just get gemini or lil' haunt and gnawed leaf :D takes a shitton of time but you can't really die :D
Daddy Longlegs is really the best with the Leaf. Daddy does a lot of damage and it's one of the few friends that can go anywhere on the screen.
John Bainbridge Yeah, that's pretty good :D. If you are guppy it would be even more Op, i guess :D.
The issue with guppy is that you need to shoot things to get flies, which breaks the invincibility.

I have like 10 play hours, I just beat the cathedral for the first time today and even I was screaming PYRO HEALS YOU at the screen.
I love the way that when the room is already saturated to the brim with firepower you're STILL trying to make it better.
bomb synergies are the best, also hutts, you do know that pyromaniac doesn't make you immune to explosive damage right? you absorb explosive damage to heal red hearts, with that and curse of the tower you are pretty much invincible as long as you have like, 4-5+ red heart containers, nonetheless get rekt bloat mode, but anyways, the whole time it sounded like you didn't know explosions heal you if your hit by any with pyromaniac.
and yes I know I'm late to the party......
