I hate how people push custom brushes so hard now that every beginner thinks they need to spend money on brush sets. It only impacts like 5% of your drawing.
If your drawing didnt look good with default brushes, it wasnt gonna look any better with your $20 brushes.
Yep, I too thought I had to spend money on custom brush sets. I've just been using default brushes in Krita and this video (along with a Twitter tweet I can't remember, from a different artist) made me feel good about myself.
Thanks for showing how with the default brushes it’s possible to create beautiful artwork ❤️❤️
Ahhhhh someone talking about default/preloaded brushes! As someone who only seems to use the default brushes in Krita, I feel good about myself! 😃
Thanks Teoh for these tutorials with Procreate! Glad you use it and teach us.
Wow! Your instruction is so clear and understandable! Thank you. I am re inspired to learn more.
Thank you, very helpful as I begin to learn procreate 😊👍
Good selection 👍 I’ve been using the standard watercolour brush recently and have really liked the results 🤓
Thank you so much Teoh 💚👍🏽
Very interesting as I often wonder what brushes other people use, well, instead of buying so many. Thank you for sharing! ☮️
Gracias.
Really helpful - thank you 🙏
Thanks for sharing this!
Excellent!
Hi Teoh, did you happen to change the brush settings? The way your cloud brush covers the canvas so smoothly tells me you might have tweaked it a bit.
Love it and the tips! What tablet are you using? I've seen some of your reviews. I want a tablet that will grow with my artistic evolution.
12.9-inch iPad Pro from 2018. If you want to buy, look at refurbished units. www.apple.com/shop/refurbished/ipad
Amazing!!! Do you think It is much easier to draw on a tempered glass Screenprotector? Or on an Paperlike screen protector?
Tempered glass may affect Apple Pencil performance. To protect against scratches, a thin screen protector will do. Matte screen protector will provide a nice tactile drawing experience. I recommend the brand SuperShieldz as it's cheap and good. amzn.to/3wgGAMW
@@teohyc ooooohhhh, thank you for the info. I did not realize that
Hey Teoh! I been catching up with your videos and I'm wondering if you ever considered reviewing a magnetic/removable matte screen protector. I am still on the fence of getting a more "permanent" screen protector 😅
I think there's a company called PenTips that sells them but I've not tested them before so I can't say how good they are. pen.tips/pages/about-pentips-2-penmat
Apologies as I'm sure you've answered this before. But is there an ANDROID based drawing app you recommend/that you've reviewed? If so are there brushes you'd recommend? Thanks!
Concepts, Infinite Painter, Medibang Paint, Clip Studio, Sketchbook Pro
@@teohyc Thanks Teoh!!
Any screen protector that works great on the ipad ? Don’t say paperlike 😐😑
Get SuperShieldz on Amazon. It's cheap and good. And if you don't like it you did not waste much money.
