I watched this award show too. She refused to act with Kamal in Vishwaroopam 2 because she promised her husband not to act after marriage. She told Kamal, "If i have to act again, i have to seek my husband's permission who is in heaven now." I like her for how much she respects the promise she made to her husband eventhough he has perished. Sooooo committed. That's the difference between man and woman. For woman family comes 1st. She acted like she was born for it - to date I dont think any actor can emote like her without overacting, she can act as equal as Meena Kumari or Savitri. Her box office record is unparralel, just check it out for confirmation - Sangam ran as much in theatre esp for her performance.
