Many thanks for your great video. So far the performance is concerned, what is your view to choose between this one and Contaxt Zeiss 85mm f1.4 (or even its 50's or 60's anniversary version at f1.2) , if we can only buy one of them? PS: I have watched that video too? Thanks!
Hi, Thanks for your video. Great videos and photos demonstrated. Do the both Type 1 ("auto" version) and Type 2 ("electric" version). Can the Type 2 version be mounted to Sony A9 mirrorless camera via an adapter too? Also, I think it can only shoot in manual mode. Am I correct?
Hi excellent store and channel! Love your stuff. I recently added the 16 blade version of the Helios you made to my wish-list. Is a mod like that possible on the Industar 69, 61 or 50?
hello. I am most impressed by your content. I have a small collection of vintage lens, I have successfully removed fungus from several. I am fond of my type 3 you talked about in this video, but it also has a little fungus. I thought it would be simple to clean the front group, but I cannot figure out how to disassemble. Do you have any tips or advice please? does it have anything to do with the tiny screw on the side?
Thanks. I have the Pancolor 50mm 1.8 and colour and contrast and feeling of image is super, similiar to the 135mm 3.4 Zeiss Jena which is dead cheap considering the beutiful images it produces. I Have many of these praktica , Practicar lenses I never even use. The biggest I had was the F300 f4 which was beutiful but heavy, largest now is 200mm F2.8 I have for 15 yrs and not use, but I am going to Spain to do some astrophotos hopefully. These lenses are the very best value , but E Bay has pushed the price WAY up like on this video review.
I own this lens since the 90s when I used it on my Praktica BX20 film camera. I still use it today on my Olympus Pen and it's still great, unsurpassed bokeh and sharpness.
Do you know if (with an ef adapter) this lens would work on something like a Blackmagic Pocket Camera 6k? I read of some rear element difficulties with certain systems.
hello, im looking for recommendation for taking lenses for anamorphic adapters.Which Russian 50 and 85mm would you recommend that can adapt to EF, looking for good sharpness semi wide open, with good bokeh , lots of blades, i heard Lomos are good, what you recommend ?

yes, you need to unscrew tiny screw, this is a blocker. Than you unscrew a front part with filter thread
@@RetroFotoHouse thank you. Just managed to successfully clear away a small fungus patch from the front group thanks to your input.
This lens is on my list, but it is expensive. Every review I have seen has this lens very highly rated.

No, it doesn't

85mm is definitely jupiter-9. Nice sonnar based design and 15 blades iris. for 50mm i advice helios 44m
Can this lens cover medium format 6.45?
No, only full-frame
Как думаете, Tokumar 85 1.8 сильно проигрывает zeiss? Разница в цене 4 раза.
