I think there are 2 that stand out already, the BY-M1S which sounds loud and clear but has a really hot or high output. And the BY-M1 Pro mk2 without the -10db cut. I think it sounds a little warmer and less background noise.

Which one should i buy for vocal and guitar recording? Does battery changing is a big deal when it comes to buying?

The noise floor on both Pro versions sounded higher and worse when you added gain in software. I can hear the difference when I max out my headphone volumes.

Can you briefly explain which one of them is better? I heard the sound with a Android phone speaker and it's hard to differentiate to my ordinary ear 🙂

Interesting comparison of microphones. Both pro versions seemed ok but the orig ro seemed to need a lot of correct both revording and mixing. The pro ver2 sounded best at 0db until you tweaked it and high lvls hissing. Producing videos must be a nightmare! Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath 🐈👍

Sugggestion: Add time video tags on the video with the mic model you were currently using so it’s easier for us the viewers to go back and forth and compare how the mics sounds 👍🏼

All three sounded pretty good after adjustments in post production, but I think I liked the others over the MK2. You really can't go wrong with BOYA, however.

Good intro to the mics! So, after listening back, which do you prefer? There's definitely A LOT of hissing audible! I'm looking to get new lav mics to go with my new DJI Mic2s. :)
