  • Mabuhay! 안녕하세요! Ako si Jinyong!
    Last time, I and my friends tried a famous Filipino breakfast food, Tocino. I was really happy to see my friends enjoying tocino in my last video. Today, I brought five of Filipino snacks to my Korean friends and asked them to try every one of them! Will my Korean friends like Filipino snacks as much as other Filipinos do? If so, which one will be their favorites? Let's find out together!

    They don't think Oishi is spicy *at all* Koreans are really on another level when it comes to spicy foods

    • @joleykay4469
      @joleykay4469 5 лет назад +2

      Golden HOPE I think it was just the red one. The extra spicy is orange.

    • @quitegauche
      @quitegauche 2 года назад

      I'm bad with spicy foods but Oishi isn't spicy to me at all. Not even the orange one. But I've tasted their least spiciest insta-noodles and I couldn't finish it at all.

    • @peeenguinne3858
      @peeenguinne3858 2 года назад

      I think it is different with people.
      I mean, in Jessica lee's video, they thought Martys' Crackling chili flavor is super spicy. They even had their faces crinkled after tasting it.
      And personally, I think Oishi prawn crackers (the orange one not the hot one), is much spicier than martys crackling chili flavor.

    I like the way your videos are made. Nice editing and the subtitles really help in the way your friends react to the food. One thing I’ve learned about Koreans is that they go for the familiar taste that they’ve grown with and are not too adventurous about exotic foods.

    my favorite filipino would nagaraya all of the flavors especially the hot flavor one and POLVORON!!!! i am so addicted to it.. seriously.... special mention would be Tortillos although its not Filipino snack but i love it...

      At first, I would like to bring Nagaraya for filming but I was just worried that there would be too many snacks for my friends to try at once haha so I just kept Nagaraya for Filipino snacks episode 2! I'm not sure when I'm gonna take episode 2 with my friends but I guarantee that I'll include Nagaraya next time! thanks for watching and thank you for your comment! hope you enjoyed my video!😁😁

    Polvoron is actually a powdered milk that is mixed with sugar and is fried using butter. it stir fried with not much butter to it so it won't stick to the pan. That is why it can easily break because it is powdered from the word polvor in polvoron which is derived from the word polvurize in english.

    All of the 1st four are eaten as “pulutan” or foods that you eat when you drink. Like what your friends mentioned, they would like maekju with it. ㅋㅋㅋ And polvoron is indeed nice as it’s made from milk. Try the ones with different flavors from that same brand though like u said it is expensive 헐 🙄 Tomi is nice! it is a sweet corn chip and has vit. A. Another one is Richee. It is a milk-flavor crunchy snack~ 잘 먹겠다^^ 😊😊😊

    The cheap version of Polvoron is also really good. It's just one peso and can be bought easily at sari-sari stores.
