I ordered one of these just because why not haha, I am curious, how is the glass? would you compare it to arken optics? other brands?
Based on the 5-25x56 I reviewed before (I have not had this 40x in the field yet), I would say they are compareable to Arken/Riton etc, potentially better. I linked the review video of the 25x in the description if you wish to see more, have images through it out to 1 mile and it was crystal clear. I know you said you already ordered it, but I should have the review for this one up in a couple weeks (waiting on my ammo to come in).

Wow! That's a huge scope. That'll add some weight to a rifle.
Surprisingly not as heavy as it looks, though it is probably more ideal for a bench/long range rifle than a hunting setup.
@@BuckeyeBallistics Yes, wont matter on the bench. When the turret caps are the size of child proof prescription bottle tops its probably best at the range rather than trekking up & down brush covered ridges. HA HA

@@TADDs101 Oof! I see that on their website now. Yeah, she's a big heafty scope. Fine for the range and maybe long range varminting where you drive to the prairie dog area and shoot a few hundred + yards but not so great for the hunter walking up/down ridges/

First discoveryopt? I'll be very interested to see your opinion knowing how you feel about CVLIFE. I think Discoveryopt, based on my experience with their 5-25x56 so far, is on par with Arken/Riton/etc. Maybe better? Perhaps you can let us know in your review. I just don't know what to expect on 40x, but we'll see...
@BuckeyeBallistics Yeah first one. The Bearpower Scope I got from CVLIFE or whatever they call it wasnt to bad. Ive reviewed a number of Riton Optics I have no doubt it won't hold a candle to the 7 Conquer I have from Riton but if it matches the X3 I'd be impressed with that. Definitely anxious to see how this one does. Yeah im really not to optimistic with it being on 40x ha ha
