1:40 to 2:39 is just enchantingly and hauntingly beautiful. And then 2:39 hits... wow. James Newton Howard had the balls to lowkey put a trap beat in a movie set in medieval times... and it’s so badass.
The power of Maleficent's curse is even beyond what Maleficent expected. She literally curses herself - because of the words of the curse, she ends up loving Aurora like her own

I really like part of the OST that 'represents' the spindle curse (from around 1:58 to 2:27). Every scene that has the curse in it, that part will play, first in the scene that Maleficent places the curse on Aurora (The Christening OST), then in the scene that Maleficent tries to revoke the curse (The Curse Won't Reverse OST), and lastly in the scene that Aurora pricks her finger on the spindle (The Spindle's Power OST)
