The always rolling towards or behind is a huge tip people don’t realize most of these bosses require a roll in not a roll out I fall victim to that so often in this game it’s muscle memory to dodge away even after playing Elden ring lol it’s like human instinct to dodge away from something
I’ve been trying this now for seven hours straight. I followed exactly your steps and after the transformation I’m still above half health for the enemy when you’re at 25%. I officially give up unless you have very good armor like he does all legendary at least then your set
I have centipede armor on you can craft after beating chapter 4 boss. It only gives a buff for poison defense which wouldn't help in this fight. My staff here does 80dmg. Make sure to take Tiger pellets for attack buff.
You can try defeating it with my "strat". Posted it on my video, long story short, it's to combine the ring of fire with stance attack build. It made the fight very easy.
I only use the needle after he's already at 25% Health Left. This guide is mainly used to get him close to 25% HP to beat him easier than just fighting him head on at 100% HP. I do have a video up showing how you can get the needle though.
Make sure with Pluck of many skill you get Harmony and Insult to Injury.(Important step) Use Tiger enhanced pellets right before fight. Then ghost step and Cast pluck of many after you hit him then freeze him and light attack spam. Only transform right after your duplicates go away then just spam light attacks. He should be low health at that point to make this fight much easier. When you need to dodge make sure you roll towards him. Double check you did everything in order in the video.
I was struggling with this boss too once you're in chapter 6 and get better armour and a staff you can easily kill him I managed to kill him on my first attempt🔥💯
@@patwolf5207 I don't know if you managed to beat this boss since you commented. I hope you got him! If I could hop on to clear a boss for someone I would do it! lol. Waiting until you get some higher tier weapons and armor is always an option.

You failed to mention that you had the needle attacking him.

have maxed p[luck of many but clones couldnt drop him to 50% hp
Make sure you use enhanced Tiger pellets with the 80dmg staff. Use immobilize to trigger the dmg buff (Insult to Injury) after clones spawn.
