I actually exclusively sell all my X items immediately, I just use them as extra cash for buying TMs. Setting up often just means taking damage, and heals are the most important things in the game. X items will also be less common in the next update, their frequency in this version was actually a bug, as well as some changes to how random pokemon species are chosen for trainers and the ball case

Tatsugiri is another poor victim of "late game high level only in the gen they were introduced in" disease. Because you can only catch it at such a high level, the game never expects you to have a low leveled one, so it gets all of its good moves at those high levels.
Other victims include half of the Unovan dex (I'm exaggerating but also a good amount of them evolve at absurdly high levels) a small amount of the Kantonian dex (Rhyhorn, Ponyta, y'all evolve too late considering later gens let you catch them at lower levels), nearly every legendary ever (most don't get good/signature moves until around levels 30-50), and many others that would take forever to list.

I just started this on Wednesday and beat my first run yesterday, my final team was cracked, Zacian Crowned, Chandelure, Iron Moth, Reshiram, Palafin Hero and I soloed the last 25 floors with a Calm Mind Kyogre

Sacred Fire and Mystical Fire are moves I tend to mix up, so that could easily make sense why that commenter was so confident.
Also like it's not bad, because odds are if it was a special move, you'd swap the move out later
