Kensington has many emotional songs that gives you goosebumps. They are masters in building up songs. A song like No Me, St. Helena and Island are examples. They are very populair in The Netherlands and they deserve an international audience. Sad but true. The band doesn`t exists anymore. Thr leadsinger wanted to do something else. Please watch kensington and also a great Dutch ban called Di-rect live at De Vrienden van Amstel Live. The two bands doing covers of great songs together. It`s inanly good

The band does still exist. Their lead singer Eloi just quit the band. And rumours go round that the band has already found a replacement. So no, that they no longer exist is NOT true.

@@ThePitchBitch I googled it, and Radio 538 announced last October (2023) that they'd have a new lead singer. Not yet confirmed by the record company though, but still a very positive inside scoop 😀

I have this dream Eloi Youssef and Floor Jansen ever singing a duet. That would be something, two of the very best Dutch vocalists, strong and vulnerable at the same time. Well, Eloi stopped and I'll keep on dreaming.

I love Kensington, especially the vocalist Eloi Youssef. Unfortunately he announced in 2021 that he will leave the band. One of my favorite songs by them is No Me (lyric video). Perhaps you will give it a listen, either in your own time or as a reaction on RUclips. 🙋♀️💕

This one is definitely in my top 10 , so much emotions connected with this, great underestimated song , in my opinion

My favourite song from them is st Helena, very different from this one but the performance I’ve watched most is the “heroes segment “ they did with another Dutch band Direct at the “ Vrienden van Amstel Live 2020”

In The Johan Cruijff Arena fits 55865 people at a concert. The roof can be closed for concerts. Kenstington began famous in the The Netherlands with Their song: War. They played alternative rock and living in the city of Utrecht. Most of all shows, festivals and concerts are so well planned. The decor, the sound, the athmosphere, the extra’s. We like concerts where famous Dutch artists doing covers from all different genres. We like to sing along and the public have all kind of ages,, nationalities etc.
Love your channel. The way you explain music is fantastic. I know Some stuff about music because of a sound enginering course but you’ve learned me to listen way better than I already did. Thank you.

@@peterkeijsers489 I’ve checked it and they said that many people at a concert but You’re problably right. The Arena itself can have a lot of people. It doesn’t matter. The band had sold out concerts
The Johan Cruijff ArenA (yes with a capital A on both ends of the word) can host 55,000 football visitors, or 71,000 music event visitors.
In retrospect, I actually thought about retracting my suggestion, because it might have been too emotional for you (the storytelling - knowing your personal story), and at a certain point I thought I saw you almost break into tears. But luckily you didn't, eventually.
And yes, he has such a powerful voice! Their very first single (Streets) actually hit the top region of the Dutch charts! By now, they fill up stadiums all over Europe with their awesome pop rock music. Sometimes it's more ballad-like, but sometimes it's even a lot rougher than this!

You should react to the ending performance of ‘Vrienden van Amstel Live 2020’ this band together with another dutch band called Di-rect. Their theme was nostalgic songs. They sing multiple covers of great songs. I have goosebumps every time I watch it.

Their performance of Uncharted live at Vrienden van Amstel live is mindblowing too.

There should be around 55000 people there , it’s a soccer stadion , near by is also Afas live and Ziggo dome where also concerts been hold , good place to go
Actualy, for concerts the stadium can house over 70,000 (I beieve about 72,000, to be exact)
@@peterkeijsers489 ik snel even op Google capaciteit concert gekeken. Daar stond iets van 55000 op , hoe dan ook deze band verdient veel meer dan dat , zeker dit nummer is zo geweldig dat het jammer is dat internationaal er te weinig aandacht voor is naar mijn idee
