CORRECTION: bloodthirst will be your highest priority attack in single target. after more testing it hits super hard at current gear levels!
Also rend is a pretty decent dps gain. Writing off Overpower weaving is understandable but I do think rend is worth. I get 180-250 dps out of it.

@@michaeljohn6777 I've never used rend in the opener. First GCD should be BT. You end up with plenty of open GCDs to stance dance and rend. This is a dps gain regardless of how much rage you have at the time.
@@erichilde1925 Ah really seems nuts to dump a full bar of rage for a rend but its worth trying out - thanks man. Could you also let me know about armor pen are you gemming it ? I have runestone. I Know its a hard question to ask because everyone gear is different but Im trying to figure out whether the str loss is worth it.
@@michaeljohn6777 i currently don't need any gems to hit soft cap. It's kind of the crap answer alot of people give but simming is the best solution. Before I got my most recent upgrade i wasn't soft capped but gemming to soft cap instead of strength was still a dps loss on the sim. It just varies so much based on what you have equipped.

Using a nightmare tear counts as 1 of every color, so you don’t need to also use a yellow to activate your meta. The nightmare tear covers the requirements of your meta by itself

Great points and timing on this video, heroic strike usage really is key and seems to be overlooked in the guides I see, leaving a ton of damage on the table by missing swing s. Im an Arms warrior and Ive been thinking about mixing it up to fury because... big axes. looking forward to the new videos

Anyone able to clarify the Hit % we should be aiming for? I understand the precision talent gives 3%, but is that 3% displayed in the character window/information? Or do you need to add it yourself… essentially meaning if you have 5% hit plus precision you’re good.
My on fury warr I’m always fighting to balance Hit, Exp, ArPen, and Strength. Pretty sure I’m carrying around too much hit rating

even with an armor pen trink like runestone should we not try for 100 % Arp rating ? I guess I could sim the difference between str and arp but reading everywhere that if u can get 100 % arp with trinket you should gem arp anyone confirm. This video is awesome though and I realized I was forgetting a lot of crucial shit so thanks tomato
Yes, if you have mjolnir then gem to 649 arp unless you have to gem a massive amount

my main issue right now is cancelling HS when it will rage starve, I think it's causing me problems. I am almost full BiS and some fights I am just parsing garbage. But my guild's kill times arent great so that's not helping either. my damage is on par or higher than 99 parsers but with a minute longer fights
