Very nice. The 65 Impala> a comfortable ride that will give you years of service if treated right and if somebody doesn't slam you. Great styling and driving characteristics plus you can still get parts. What is Not to like? And Non Powered Drum brakes will stop you. ABS is SHIT no 2 ways about it. I hope that you still have this in this shown condition - I'd love to have one.
P.S. Had some 4:10:1 in my GTO. Not a highway gear. If you want to road trip, do a set of 3:08 or 3:36:1. Your engine will thank you- believe me. For me, those wheels must go. With that paint, a set of White Wagon Wheels is the ticket with a set of L-70 x 15s.
When I was in my early twenties in the '80s I always wanted one of these big boats I met a guy that had one I think he had a 400 Big Block in it positive rear end and a four on the floor it was the fastest car at that time that I had seen he blew one of the exhaust off on the takeoff one day I think that is a lot of power I don't think the cars of today has this kind of reputation and he traded a 69 Camaro for it I think he had a good swap he said the 69 Camaro did not compare to the Impala I agree
