Seeing these classic land yachts makes me want to go for a road trip. No screens, no stupid distracting gizmo's. Just plenty of room for a few friends and luggage. I miss the 70's...
You’re so right - the best thing about taking one of my classics out for a drive is the complete lack of any infotainment bull$hit! Just me, the steering wheel, and the beautiful sound of American iron rumbling under the hood…..!!!!!
My Father had a 1971 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron coupe that had the 440 V8 and a 727 TorqueFlite transmission. I drove it to high school when I was 17 years old. That engine sound was music to my ears!
Great first car! My first car (back in 1975 at age 16) was a 4-year-old, pristine, B5 (medium) Blue, with white vinyl top, blue interior, ‘71 Plymouth Barracuda. I traded it a year later (1976) for a very nice 2-year-old, Yellow, with black vinyl top, black side stripes, black interior, ‘74 Plymouth ‘Cuda (‘74 was the FINAL EDITION Barracuda/‘Cuda - the last year Plymouth made ‘em). Wishin’ I had both of those beauties back.
The coolest aircraft carrier I've ever seen! Seriously cool car. I had a similar 71 Newport Custom with the 383 when I was 18. Drove it like I was Bo Duke on many dirt roads in Indiana. Love the big Chryslers.
I have always loved the super clean lines on these late 60's early 70's era Chryslers. This particular car has been beautifully cleaned up and detailed. Nice work! :)
I had a 1970 Newport that was heavily modified. It had a 300 grill, and somehow it had absolutely no chrome on it. The rear end bumper was blacked out. The paint was old school black lacquer. Set up was a 383 magnum with the 727 torque flight, manifolds had been changed out for headers. There was a Holley 750 4 barrel on it. Gas was about a dollar a gallon at the time. That car got me into so much trouble. I would get pulled over all the time. However, the cops would invariably ask me the year and what was under the hood. I remember one guy giving me a warning and then asking with a straight face if I wouldn't mind lighting it up before he left. I had a set of 50 series slicks on the rear at the time so I had to oblige. Man I miss that car.
I had a brown 1971 300 4-door 440 TNT 375 HP. My first car, given to me by my uncle Freddie. He had bought a new Cordoba and the 300 needed a new master cylinder. This was 1982. What I would give to have that car now.
Beautiful classic car. I had a 1970 Chrysler One of the most comfortable cars I ever owned. Only thing is, with that type of air cleaner you are drawing hot air from with the engine compartment. Air drawn from the outside is cooler and much more efficient that hot air from the engine compartment.
thanks for the video . my dad bought one off the line in 70 , with a 400 , I was 5 and remember every time that 4 barrel screamed for more fuel and that 'new car scent'
If only I was born a decade earlier... I wish I could own one of these beauties, drive it at sunset on a winding road, or at night on a lit up stretch. Man that would be sick...
Great classic from 70s, Worked in Corvette shop from 1986 till 1989 and white 1970 Chrysler 300 was given to the shop to cover an debt the owner of 300 incurred. Clean ride no visible rust.
My younger brother has a 66 chrysler 300. A ws6 trans am couldn't catch it.. the young man driving it was a little pist cuz a huge boat spanked his ass..
I would take this hands down over any pos camaro, Honda, crotch rocket, or any other status quo "cool car" that machine is like an assassins car of choice. Just sinister looking with the hidden headlights.
Silly danish people, put a plate on it and drive it daily! Were they all green? Might look cool, but crank up those torsion bars. Best thing about the 383 is no overheat. Rev it up man, keep those spark plugs clean.

You wouldnt want to go on a road trip now a days with them drums brakes. Wouldnt be able to stop on time if it was a traffic jam
Don’t forget the 440 4BBL.
@@krayzietj I could be mistaken but I believe these came standard with disc? If not it was definitely an option.
@@krayzietj deja de decir estupideces, esto es una maqui a de verdad, es para disfrutar. ❤

This was the exact year, make, model, and color of my first car. You’ve done a beautiful job with it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

300s didn’t come with 4-doors 😵💫
Yes they did, my dad had a 1971 4 door 300.

Beautiful car
What a car!! I want it!! My dream car.
Dang. Chrysler had some smooth lines back in the day. I wonder why everything went blocky
One of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen

400 wasn’t available until 72. 383, 440, and of course the 426 Hemi.
Not exactly, a '69 - '71 300 always came with a 440, ('69 - '70 TNT option available) nothing else... 😉
Nice car , love my ‘06 SRT8
No overheating without a radiator shroud ?
Fan shroud I mean
A beauty indeed..and I love the comfy bench seat

good old days -- grew up with all the 60s and 70s cars
I like the blacked out grille and lack of the side molding, I shall do the same to mine.
Frente muito bonita e a traseira mais ainda.

Grandparents passed down a 68 Fury II which I loved. Someday I hope to get a 70 Fury. :)
Beautiful car!!!
We will never see such beautifully designed automobiles like these. Men used to design everything. Now AI is the beginning of the end.
Elle est magnifique.....
AWESOME CAR
The look, the stance, SPOT ON !🏁
Beautiful Chrysler. They ordered power windows and power seats, but no A/C.

Now that’s a 300!
It's a badass incognito blast from the past 👍
Stunning car.
My first car was a 1970 Dodge dart Swinger slant 6 19000 actual miles lady was 90 years old. Two door red with white vinyl top
....shoulda parked right next to that mini @1:35 for a few seconds and got a good shot of both together just to get the full effect.
What a cool looking beast of a car, I wonder if anyone ever put a Viper engine in one of these Chrysler bodies?
What a gorgeous car
How refreshing, no "WHATS GOING ON GUYS!!"

My ‘68 Charger leans like hell when cornering, I can’t imagine the body roll on this beast😂 gorgeous vehicle, love the rims too
I never saw before a car that the hood fully opens by a push button!!! :)
Man is that ever a sweet looking piece of machinery, put a four speed in that with a 440 or even a Hemi and I’d take that over a charger any day.
back when cars had a soul
One of our best cars and it ends up in Europe! WTF!!! Nice ride my friend!
The length of the trunklid is insane
Beautiful! We had a '69
Sinister appearance, but for those HUGE mandated marker lights.
1:33 That Mini could fit in the trunk! 😂
You could haul a lot of moonshine in that big trunk.
Hyper cool ❤
Perfect!
My younger brother has a 66 chrysler 300. A ws6 trans am couldn't catch it.. the young man driving it was a little pist cuz a huge boat spanked his ass..
Kewl car, would have to extend my garage a couple feet.
Beautiful car, may I buy it, please? Where was this video taken? Looks like it may have been an airport long ago.
That is awesome!
BEAUTIFUL MOPAR!!!!! I LOVE THESE OLD CARS!!!!!!
Dark Green was a in color. Along Dark brown. People liked the Dark Greens and Browns. Those colors didn't make the car so big. Shawn.
Good running car.
nice car
This thing is boss. It can park in 2 zipcodes at once.
Beautiful car, the only thing the power windows and front seat motors all sound like they are straining or the battrey is low or something
Great, own a 2dht 1970 440ci
I would take this hands down over any pos camaro, Honda, crotch rocket, or any other status quo "cool car" that machine is like an assassins car of choice. Just sinister looking with the hidden headlights.
Is it the USS Ford or Eisinhower ? Nice car great design
🤗👍🤩
I love the car but how much fuel does the car use?

Sounds like it needs either an alignment or the power steering belt tightened.
Bench seat! Oh yeah! That’s a man’s car! 😜
Super Chrysler à Ouais

Этот не трак ,это диван ! Надо газу даватььь!!!

Awesome car. What size tires are those? I have a 73 Newport and would like to upgrade tires from stock
