Hi Magnar, I honestly believe that Turboprop pilots like you are unrepresented in the RUclips space. While jets fly long distances, turboprops is where the real diversity of aviation lies. Thanks for creating this RUclips channel to show us how truly diverse the aviation industry reallly is!

Yes, it is. A seaplane is flown down to the water surface. And if you don't pull the nose up after touching down, the seaplane will flip over on its nose. This is the completely opposite of what pilots are doing when landing airliners.
Recently, I read an interview with the developer, and the message was that the ATR will be very realistic. So, it should be good to practice normal procedures.

Magnar do you think the ATR42/72-600 coming out in microsofts flight sim will a viable study tool for those doing type ratings in the ATR?
