  • In this tutorial i will show you how designed the 6 DOF industrial robotic arm KUKA kR16. I 'am really fascinated with that type of robots because each part of this robot is a masterpiece .
    The Kr16 parts are a little bit complicated , some time I was obliged to use surfacing to design some part.

      Hi BrX, as you can notice that this shape is not regular and it's really difficult to create it using the simple features. So I decided to create it using surfacing tools( "surface loft ")
      But now we have a small problem, the shape created is hollow and there is no material inside.
      To fill this shape and create a solid part I used the "Knit surface" and select "Create solid" but it works only if our surface part is closed that's why I added "surface-fill 9" and "surface-fill 10" .
      I noticed that this step is repeated twice in this video. Sorry for that , and I will do my best to modify it.
