  • In this tutorial i will show you how designed the 6 DOF industrial robotic arm KUKA kR16. I 'am really fascinated with that type of robots because each part of this robot is a masterpiece .
    The Kr16 parts are a little bit complicated , some time I was obliged to use surfacing to design some part.

    Hi Ninja, around 2:20 you dimensioned centerline's endpoint as 131,5 mm. I think this is useless. Isn't it? Because both the rectangle and circle's center point is the same. But what is the 131,5 mm's role?

      Thank you for you comment , I do so because the center of the rectangle is offset from sketch origin (the red one).
      You can avoid this dimension if you want , it is not that accurate.
