Interesting gear assembly. I was looking to build my own robotic arm and the use of a worm gear is clever. I with I thought of that.
there's quite a lot of vibration during stopping and starting motion. probably need more acceleration and deacceleration tuning in the code.
Isn't that caused by backlash too? Which is precision robotics biggest enemy
+ igus - I don't think it was a low-cost to this.

Thanks for the link. Yeah like I said the tune goes great with the illustration, esp. so in that the rhythm of the animation snaps in sync with that of the music, like that part where the exploded view if the graphics exposes the insides of the arm, the elbow's worm gear. That makes an impressive impact. Very professional and clean, like a packaged bar of Ivory soap.

Máme to na dílně, již 3x servisováno. Přestali jsme to používat, zbytečné nervy... Low cost = low quality! :-/ We have it in the workshop, already serviced 3 times. We stopped using it, unnecessary nerves :- / FANUC solved everything at 110% and now we have no problems with automation! Thanks FANUC!
