I'm pretty sure at least a couple of the musicians in the backup band are from the Phantom Blues Band (Taj Mahal's touring band). The keyboard player is most certainly the great Jim Pugh. Jim is the founder of the Little Village Foundation, a non-profit record company (you read that right, a non-profit record company) that is bringing the best contemporary Blues to the world today. If you're a Blues lover do a search and check them out. It's a great story that should have happened long ago.

Jim Pugh also spent a long time on the road with Robert Cray and was a hired gun for a number of West Coast Blues acts
