I like how the Loon 120 has a deck that's 2" shorter and a beam that's 1" narrower than the 106 and the 126. The 120 will be perfect for the missus, the 126 angler for me. Great reviews guys!
*A lot of viewers have been real thankful for our DIY videos and have ask if there was a way to buy us a Beer. RUclips now has a ‘THANKS’ button under every video, Just click the button.* 😀 *It’s not required or expected, but it is appreciated. THANK YOU!*
I dont know why I have a feeling you guys are in New Hampshire. Great review, like how thorough you guys were. Can’t wait for that on water review. I wonder how stable is going to be.
Thanks for the vid. We are trying to decide betw Loon and the Pungo... I just saw a review that said the Loon is VERY unstable in wind. Can you guys give any feedback on that aspect?
Out of curiousity, how tall are you? Im 6'1 and I wanna know if i'll be able to fit comfortably in the 120 or if i should go for the 106 since it has a larger deck, I wanna get a 12 foot kayak ideally, but this kayak looks so nice that I'd be willing to downsize if need be most likely
I am 5'11 and love the 120. Plus a longer kayak will tracker better than a smaller one, so I've heard. Good luck, let us know which one you decide to get. 😀
Hi Peter. Best I can tell you is based on me. I am 5'11 175lbs. If I push the foot braces all the way forward, my feet do not reach them. When I sit in the kayak there is plenty of room around me. That being said, you should try and see in there is a dealer near you, or someone selling one a year or two old, so you can sit in one yourself. Good Luck. 😀
Companies that rent kayaks love Old Towns because they are so durable...do some checking around in your area and see if you can rent one for a day. Then you'll know if it's the kayak you want to buy!
This was a really helpful video. Thank you both for reviewing this kayak.
We are glad you found it helpful. 😀

Thank you. We can't wait for winter to be over so we can get them back on the water.
Excellent video… This is the best review of any Kayak I’ve seen….I liked it so much I ordered a loon 120 today….

Thanks Zuriel. Your feeling is correct, we are in NH! 😀
Oh darn, I was going to guess MA.
Both states are in New England, so you were close. 😊

We never had any issues with wind and would buy these again.
great job on the very thorough video...just picked up the (photic) 120 OTL today 👍
Thanks and very cool. Enjoy! 😀
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it. 😀
That’s a really nice kayak
We like them. 😀
we have two super nice wilderness systems but these loons are a definite upgrade
We are really happy with them and can't wait for the warm weather so we can use them again. 🙂

@@WeRmudfun Do you max out the foot rests on it or is there still some room for a couple extra inches?
I still have room. Do you have a dealer near by where you could try them out for fit? I never ever considered the 106. I had the Dirago 120 also. 😊
Hows is compare to a pungo? Better or same?
They are pretty much the same. We prefer the Loon though. 😀
I missed you. Like #2. How is the Jayco?
Hi Dennis. Maggie the RV is doing well. 😀
Hi, still have the collapsible ones you showed us some time back?
Yes we still have the Pakayaks. We plan on selling them.
What about the 126 🤔
We don't have one.
❤️❤️👍 Pretty Please 🙏🏻 Question? I am 6’2 and 250lbs do you think 💭 I’d be too cramped inside??? Or ???
Thank YoU 😊

Think you'll be ok. Just talked to a guy who was 6'0, 300lbs and he loads his 120 with gear and says there is zero issue.
