People rip on a7x so much, but like even if there not super heavy their musical talent is almost equal to that of dream theater just a little less prog. Of course there not trying to be the most progressive, but the technical ability is crazy.

Syn. Thank to you. I have gained skill on the guitar that I have never experienced before. I have been so worried lately because I want this to be my career yet I have no clue where to start. So you my question to you is what would you say is a good this to do when wanting to make a career in music because music is my passion and I love it to the bottom of my heart. So Thanks for being there and thanks for believing in all the different guitarists around the world. 😀
I'm not syn but I play in 2 bands myself and what I can tell you is, learn to play your instrument properly, go to concerts, watch some stuff of the big ones(Bands/ Riffs etc.) and maybe even change some of there stuff and have a lot of patience.

I'm convinced this kind of stuff really is the future for live gigging. What's the point of lugging around a big 100+ watt tube head and cab loaded with vintage 30s when you're just going to be playing through the venue's PA anyway? Much better to have something small and manageable and durable that can emulate the tones you're looking for without all the headache. 99.9% of the audience will never be able to tell the difference in tone. Even bands like Metallica nowadays are actually just playing through little rack-mounted amps backstage.
From Marshall to Hellwin and now an amplifier sound system of Axe FX this is awesome

I play through an Axe-FX Fractal AX8 which I think is very similar to the III Syn is discussing.
I definitely had two months of HOW THE F*** DO I SET THIS UP
But RUclips and online forums were my friend. And once I had the "aha moment", I will NEVER go back.
Sound guys unanimously love it. My Marshall Half-Stack is now my rehearsal space monitor.

This is my 3rd year playing electric. When I first bought my Pacifica and Katana Mini, I didn't know gear snobbery is a thing and sometimes it gets in my head. But now I don't care, all I care is learning and playing. I won't buy unnecessary gears just for the sake of it. I think this is what Syn is trying to say.
