Girl....I am an American married to a Nigerian and thanks to you he thinks I am an Igbo woman from the village when I cook. Everytime I make your Eguisi he calls me by my village title Nwanyi Diogo and I get a proper madam kiss. Your instructions are clear and the food is fabulous. Thanks for making me Nigerian in the kitchen.

Ivonne, I have tried this recipe before in the past and I enjoyed it.
Now, I revisited your channel and cooked the egusi again exactly as you cooked it. My 20 year old daughter who never eats African food has been eating egusi for the last two weeks for breakfast and dinner😂😂😂Thanks to you.
I have cooked it twice in the last two weeks and portioned it into Tupperware for her.
    Absolutely delicious!
    Thanks again🙏

Jennifer Aladi, I have been begging for her to cook stew which is my favourite. I am Afro-Caribbean but I LOVE Nigerian food. Since I found Ivonne I am confident that I can cook the food myself instead of going to takeout. Her videos are on point.

neonatal97 yes I can't wait for her stew lol. Her instructions are amazing she tells you how long u are suppose to cook it for. That is the main reason why I like watching her, other cooking channels are never exact. Then I get soo confused 🤷‍♀️ . But I honestly love her .

It's the garlic, thyme and curry she added. I'm willing to bet you that all 85 dislikes are Nigerians shuddering at the thought of marrying those 'foreign' flavors with efinrin and locust beans. To each his own I say. The soup looks yummy, and I'm a firm believer in trying something at least once before making up my mind about it.

This is one of the reasons l think nigeria is the mother/birth place of humanity.Forget the lies the world has told us..lt's only in nigeria/west africa where you can get this sort of meticulous cooking that makes the universe smile. Not these fast food, add anything together kind of way.But a purposeful, earth shaking, ingredient feastal that pleases the human soul.I wont even attempt to try this dear,it's way beyong my cooking knowhow.l love, love it and l thank you.
