Maybe not 40s but he does look really good! He seems like a good guy and obviously loves the business. I think he is very underappreciated, maybe because some of his best work is off camera.
I really like Sam Roberts. I love his obvious enthusiasm for wrestling, and the guy seems to be as knowledgeable of a fan as anyone Ive heard. HOWEVER, in this interview, while obviously Hulk Hogan is the show, can you at least throw Jimmy Hart a bone and involve him in the discussion somewhat? The guy did you a favor and took time out of his day to be on your show, I think he deserved a little more consideration and air time. Just an opinion.....
It seems like every wrestler lies. It's inevitable. So, you need to judge them on how they handle the lies, and how much they try to throw others under the bus... And honestly, I'm not the biggest Hogan fan, but he seems chill. It seems like he doesn't care about the beefs, and he's all business... and I respect that.
Well sorry to say but he’s the biggest scumbag in the business every wrestler from back in the day all day he would sabotage everyone to stay on top ! He’s the biggest bullshit artist in the wwe ! He was my idol when I was younger but he’s not a good guy . Stone cold Steve Austin is and will be the biggest draw and star ever in the wwe period !
Big Mike I will def agree with you about Steve Austin being the biggest draw. Hulk's longevity always overlooks Austin's impact at times. If only he didn't get that neck injury imagine how longer his career wrestling full time could've been? Vince McMahon even said so himself
Great interview, very great. Loved it, from start to the end. Always gotta' love & respect "The Hulkster" Hulk Hogan! One of the greatest legends in Pro-Wrestling History, Brother! WCW & WWE. He is back home where he belongs, chico! #HulkamaniaWillLiveForever #HulkamaniaRunningWild
I am not a Hogan hater, but I would have been asking Jimmy Hart all of the questions. He is one of the most interesting people in wrestling history IMO.
The thing about all the shit that Warrior came out with (that Hogan did coke, that he rented his wife out to the other wrestlers) was such shit. Not one other wrestler ever came forward to corroborate Warrior's claims. There are plenty of guys who were around at the time who dislike Hogan (Dr. Death, Bret Hart, Mr. Wonderful). If what Warrior was saying was true, why did not one other wrestler ever back him up?
@@Krillep Yep, not to speak ill of the dead, but maybe at some point Warrior came to the realization that no matter what......he would never get to the level (with the fans) that Hogan attained. Few if any wrestlers did. Some folks have to lash out, rather than just accept that it is what it is.
I love Hogan, read his most recent book -- you can tell he really (in recent years) has taken a turn to at least not make any enemies. But he answers questions differently depending on how it's asked and who is asking. He's well spoken, but he just cannot gather his thoughts over the Bret Hart thing. He knows (he has said this) that he felt like Bret didn't deserve the belt at that time, but he also knows if he is honest and continues to say that it's only going to stir more problems with Bret - and Bret is certainly someone who can hold a grudge (I love Hart, but I'm just saying). Nonetheless, I am glad to see that Hogan and Warrior were at least able to shake hands and make some peace. I don't think they reignited some friendship in Warrior's final days (in all honesty, because the cameras were there). I respect Warrior for speaking his mind to Hulk (which is seen in the WWE Network's special on him) and said Hulk had no right to disrespect him like that. I'm sure Warrior did some selfish things too, but Hulk gets off pretty easy for how many careers he may or may not have held down. Losing my train of thought here, but Hulk seems like he just wants to put the past behind him now and I appreciate that. I think Bret and Warrior forgiving but not forgiving is certainly their right, and I don't think just because Hogan is better now, some of the things he did should be swept under the rug.
I love how these fans say Hulk Hogan destroyed tna, when the person responsible for ruining TNA was dixie carter. Hulk Hogan put the x division back on the map, pushing guys like Kenny King, who had really good matches, the reason people hate on Hulk is he gets paid Millions of dollars due to his house hold name, which you can't blame the guy, he did put wrestling on the map, no one cant disagree with that. the x division since hogan left sucks again. and Kenny King is not on TV much. He also helped aries with Option C.
I really don't see why the WWE haven't snapped Sam up. Even just for Internet and network stuff. He gets so much more out of his interviews than anyone else.
"So why did the match with Bret Hart never happen"?... (awkward silence)..... hogan in his head- cuz i would never lose to someone that small... BROTHER!...
you know what sam, i use to get pissed that opie and anthony brushed off alot of the wrestlers but to be honest you interview them a fuck of alot better and most of your interviews are alot better because your more of a fan and know alot of this stuff and ask good questions. i love op and ant but there kinda in there own little world and they dont keep up with alot of stuff. they know current news and thats about it. i always wished they had more interviews but id rather watch you do the interviews anyways
10:11 - I bet the Hulk/Ric Flair match at Wrestlemania 8 did not happen because of the steroid scandal. Hulk was leaving the company, so there were no chances for any rematches.
I love Hogan, but some things he isn't being honest about. He didn't want to job to Bret. Truthfully, I don't blame him, he was the giant super hero for so long, and he didn't want to tarnish his legacy. He doesn't want to look bad, so he won't admit it.
I was a hulkamaniac as a kid and hulk was the man to me, but as I grew up I started to realize he is generally full of shit and not a very good person unfortunately
I really never bought into the Hulk hogan thing I always wanted him to lose of the golden era machoman randy savage was my favourite even as a heel then the new generation era bret hitman Hart was my favourite even though he was a big part of the golden era the amount of wrestlers hogan buried yes he made wrestling what it is today but so did bret Hart just a shame bret had to get screwed for the biggest era of wrestling the attitude era and went to wcw which was a toxic place hogan was all about himself
We all got jipped out of a Hogan vs Flair Wrestlemania VIII main event. They said the Hogan/Flair house shows were sub par? But come man? Wrestlemania magic would have happened and would have gone down in Wrestlemania history.
I don't think Hogan could honestly ever have another match. If he could have one it would have to be with Cena. It'd be like fighting himself because Cena is in the same exact situation Hogan used to be in.
I like how they spin the Warrior thing around. All Warrior did was tell the truth after Hogan and others tried to discredit him for years. I can't say I wouldn't speak up if that had kept up for years. I like how Hogan is now saying that Warrior was a major player after nearly two decades of badmouthing.
Perhaps this could be the match to turn Cena into a heel. He seemed to be half way there at wrestlemania and the chants of "Cena sucks!" were huge last monday night...I think this is the chance and there's nobody better to target than The Immortal himself. Perhaps there's not even need of a match, just Cena talking back to the crowd, Hogan coming out and Cena turning on him, talking trash and cutting a promo, then the Wyatts could come out to attack Hogan and instead of helping Hulk, Cena gets out of the ring (kinda like Ryback did) and after Bray has delivered the Sister Abigail, and the Wyatts leave, Cena comes in and gives Hulkster the Attitude Adjustment, thus turniing heel, while Bray Wyatt laughs at ringside...
Hogan used Andro then switched to HGH. There is no reality that he didn't use substance to "help out." My doctor clients see this clearly and these guys grew up watching WWF.
Theres a 52min video from warrior on youtube describing his view that will help plus many other wrestlers have also said the same warrior said on here most notably Randy Savage

Jimmy hart is a really good friend/manager... he doesn't try to butt in and he seems interested... Its hard to find people like this
Jimmy Hart is 70 years old and he looks like he's in his 40's!!!

the miracle of hair plugs and hair dye - he actually looks plastic and wierd

Righttt
Sam's voice stinks but at least he's a an authentic shock jock at heart makes for some good laughs back when O&A was around
Get Cornette on your show and mention Russo to him. Instant 40 minutes of entertainment lol
3 -4 hours at least
Or Kevin Dunn 😂 😂
He hates Russo with every single fiber of his being
Just think you need to say 'hello Jim... ' 7 hours later
Get Cornette on your show and mention the weather to him. Cornette could go off for about 40 minutes about that too.

@Mike Keller you just made me laugh out loud! Thanks pal!

Hogan is visibly awkward talking about Bret. He's thinking very hard about what to say next
Because he is lying.
Hogan´s interviews are the best.

Wait, is that Joan Rivers in the back at 13:55? lol
Yes
It's definitely some sort of Nosferatu.
Isn't that ironic? She did Wrestlemania 2, as a ring announcer, and Hulk was on her talk show once.
why did hogan say the best manager was beside him? That isnt bobby the brain beside him

Bobby Heenan said if Hogan thought a guy could draw money he'd work with a guy. When did Bret draw big money?
