How awesome is Will? That Jesse Ventura impression is so perfect! 😂
Check out this interview and every interview on my podcast "Insight with Chris Van Vliet": podcast.chrisvanvliet.com
Will Sasso vs Karrion Kross in a Body-Off! LOL!
Will is too funny! Loved him on MadTV. I did look up if DJ was Canadian, Rocky Johnson is the one born in Nova Scotia
I'm crying of that one. I paused it to post my comment. Will killed that one😂😂😂
I loved his Kenny Rodgers Jackass.
Pez Watley.
Will is one of the most underrated guys out there. Just a genius
oh here we go with that "underrated BS". SMDH
He is definitely post-Sasso!
Will sasso is the cgi version of Burnt Krischner if Arnold Schwarzenegger was recast in Twins (1988) look it up and figure out who is who.
What Would MadTV Be Without Him?
@@bara7331 Saying someone is underrated has got to be the most underrated statement ever! lol. I hate seeing that too. So dumb.
33:02 Chris asking “do you do a Bret Hart” and Will replies “I do” as Bret Hart, almost as if it was instinctual, was the fucking funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.
That killed me 😂
@@ChrisVanVliet Will immediately laughing too was beautiful 😂
That shit is so funny
Kenny Rodgers' Jackass is still one of my favorite MadTV sketches ever. Funny how it probably wouldn't have happened if he didn't find that script.
Great interview! Awesome job as always, Chris.
LOLOL
''Hi I'm Kenny Rogers and this is the bat fetcher trick with my teeth''
his steven seagal tho 😂😂
@@NexTGeNEXpeRT 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
WAS NOT expecting the Bret Hart impression. I died. 😂😂😂
So good!
Being Canadian, Bret Hart Is a hero. Love his match Will Sasso
@@vijaykarunakaran1566 he was entirely too hard on himself for that match. He did the job just great. And we would have all done the same.
Will Sasso is the master of impressions lol 🤣
U shud check his 10 Minute Podcast or his Dudesy podcast.. tons of Wrestling impressions
The Jessie Ventura for a full minute literally killed me 😂😂😂😂😂
Same here 😂
It's so good
lol theres a clip from another podcast of him doing Ventura for like 5min straight, yelling about the Baha and wrestling Bob Backlund in the Philadelphia spectrum lol
In the Baha
Wait 😅I thought he said 9 minutes
I have never watched this show but Chris’s interview style is top knotch. He lets the guest actually go off on stories and impressions etc. love it and great chemistry.
That's what people love best about Chris. He's having a conversation not interview with his guests.
Yeah chris is awesome one of the best imo love this dude
CVV is a great interviewer!! Regardless of how well or how many times he’s interviewed a person it’s always like watching two buds just having a chat, there just seems to be a comfortability between him and his guest
He does know when to interject too. He is good in this setting.
He does a fantastic job at realizing the ONE thing all podcasters need to: the audience wants to hear the guest. Chris helps guide the interview as a great host should.
I grew up on Mad TV and Will Sasso will always have a special place in my heart. My favorite skit is Paul Timberman's Woodworking Injuries. Those made my childhood comedy unique. Love to all those Alumni in Mad TV.
"Hi I'm Kenny Rogers, and this is Jackass."
Oh man, I remember Paul Timberman! Gonna have to RUclips those skits now.
''Steven seagal's America'' ''put the Sweet'N low back on the table'' ''I'm Steven Seagal I'll see you around around America''
@@bellyOfaTiger yeah buddy. Comedy that was funny.
@@bellyOfaTigerDairy Challenge 😂 Better than the actual Jackass.
@@JackCarsonite "I was raised on the dairy, bitch!"
This is genuinely my favorite interview I’ve watched in years. Will is the man!!
I always loved seeing his impressions on Mad TV. He was iconic in that era.
As a huge Will Sasso fan I'm very happy to see this
Yes!!! Will Sasso! I can't wait to watch this interview later! I loved MAD TV when it was on back in the day 😂
He's got some spot on impressions. The story of Bret trying to keep kayfabe with Will at a bar. Hilarious.
I didn’t understand what Bret was saying to him
@@simplyhuman2213Bret is old school and he was conveying to will that they shouldn't be seen going to a bar together because they're fueding.
I need a movie with Will Sasso, Karrion Kross, and Jessie Ventura at a table. Sharing war stories.
I’d love to see them all get into an argument.
“I was there, Will.
“No you weren’t. I was there and you definitely weren’t there.”
“I didn’t see either of you there…”
Cue violent rocking back and forth.
His impression of Seagal is uncanny, great guy
Hahaa
Great guy, never met him.
@@tomowen5391 wish i could meet him an bobby lee an michael mcdonald an debra wilson. They were my fave, all the skits and characters they created will live in my mind forever. 🤍
@@elijahhill6602Bobby Brow : "WHITNEY, I FOUND IT!"
My uncle and I were just watching a two and a half men episode with will in it and he said 'ain't that James Gandolfini?' 😂
Wow, that was the best impression of Jesse Ventura I've ever heard. If you look away and just listen, you swear that was Jesse himself lol
Thank you Chris for this interview with Will Sasso , he was one of the best comedians from MadTV hands down
@@sidekick4
If Will Sasso had been 20 Years older he would have starred in Second City Television!
Sasso is a goldmine in terms of comedy. He is so natural at it. On the level of Candy and Farley.
The Ventura impression is the best I have ever heard easily. I wondered why this guy looked so familiar, then I look up his name and its Curly himself! Glad to see he's doing well
One Of The Things I Love About Sasso Is That He Gives Props To Everything & Everyone That He Loves & Influenced Him.
Hoooly shit, a Beyond The Mat reference! “He’s gonna puke!” 😂 😂 😂
Check out his 10 Minute Podcast.. he does it a lot lol
I forgot how great Will Sasso is. He's Canadian as well. Thank you for these interviews, CVV. I love it when you interview Canadians.
If Will Sasso had been 20 years older he would have starred in Second City Television!
Will was great on Loudermilk...sure wish they could have done more seasons.
Sasso is so on point. John Candy always played a loveable loser in every role -- every role. From the shower curtain salesman in PTandA, to the guy that bet on fixed horse races in Uncle Buck, to the guy that lived with his mother as a police man in Only the Lonely. Always always was awesome
Dudesy is legit. I hope the pod blows up more. Sasso is a gem.
My brother and I love Happy Gilmore and whenever somebody has a bad shot one of us goes “you hit that guy!” In Will Sasso fashion followed by “he shouldn’t have been standing there.”
This guy was and still is so damn funny. I used to go to sleep as a kid and my Pops would wake me back up at 11pm to watch MadTV and we loved Will. I’m surprised we don’t see more of him but maybe that’s a preference of his, I haven’t listened to this yet so I’m not aware if he mentions anything about it here but I’ll give it a listen now just wanted to show some love.
Will sasso is a naturally funny and extremely talented guy! In this current generation of stand-up comedians who pick a random person in the crowd and then go on a long sarcastic rant about their experience, Will Sasso must be cherished!
It was great to hear Sasso talk about Joh Candy. Candy is an underrated actor both comedically and dramatically, he is one of my favorite actors and he deserves more respect.
Dude's Kenny Rodgers sketches from MadTV are one of my all time favorite things to watch as a kid.
The John Candy stuff was heartfelt, shoutout to Will, one of the best.
You can tell that Will is a real fan of pro wrestling. It is pretty awesome to be honest.
The passion ,I love it.
His Stone Cold impression on Madtv made me an instant fan. Will Sasso is the best.
Will is amazing, such a smart guy. Crazy journey and an incredible career he had, love every role he does
Will Sasso is so entertaining. His Vines back in the day were incredible. And Kenny Rogers Jackass from MADTV will always make me laugh.
To me, Will Sasso and Michael Macdonald never missed in their sketches. Any sketch they were in was always the best parts of the show. MadTV on Sat nights was always my favorite in the 00’s. Alot of the sketches with other characters I never found funny but I could always count on those two.
Sasso never fails to be absolutely hilarious.
PLEASE have Will back. This was excellent!!!
Cheers!!!
Such a great episode. I wish it could've been longer. I can listen to Will Sasso continue to talk.
Will Sasso is one of the most underrated talents that I know of. The guy is a laugh machine to me, love the guy and hope I can see him more going forward.
I think he is hilarious he just doesn't do a whole lot even if it is the dumbest thing ever some little cameo in a movie or something I think every time I see him, I laugh out loud at something he does. Like he popped up out of nowhere in a key and peele sketch when they are doing a pirate song and I just fell out the guy is so funny.
@@weshouser821 Ahh yeah where he sings and throws the knife and kills the guy and is like "I'm sooo sorry" Here man this is him on a podcast where the little guy is a comedian and the other guy is former UFC

I used to watch Will Sasso on MadTV and he was my favorite cast member. I’m always excited to see him when he pops up because he’s so clever, genuine and funny. His impressions are fantastic, and he’s hilarious.
My favorite memories of my teens was watching mad tv, the talent that show had is insane, they were under paid and under appreciated in the comedy world
Wills impressions are the best. He does one of if not the best Jesse Ventura, but his Scott Hall is one of the best impressions I've ever heard. If I was just listening I would have thought it was Scott on the video.
That s far and away the BEST Jesse Ventura impersonation I have EVER HEARD!
If you wanna see a great Steven Segal Impression, look up Will Sasso Steven Segal.
An Iron Mike Sharp impression! OMG, I LOVED that guy as a kid. He was hilarious. He was always the punching bag for hero characters on Sundays.
Yes! I've been on a Will Sasso and CVV kick lately so I already know that this is going to be incredible!
🙏🙌
I've loved Will forever and he's part of what made Mad TV better than SNL will ever hope to be!!!
His Elvis-forgetting-bandmember's-names skit is pure genius. He brings a Mad Magazine bit to life. He's so talented and underrated.
Will Sasso is a legend and Chris is one of the best interviewers period. Loved this! I always watch anything that has Will Sasso in it.
SUPER DUPER underrated comedian. I loved him on MadTV
Bring Will Sasso back to the WWE with that Heyman impression.
Seeing Will Sasso’s character trip shrooms in Beverly Hills Ninja will always be HILARIOUS to me!
His hulk Hogan impression is crazy. His stuff from 10 minute podcast & the fighter & the kid are amazing, lol.
Check out his new podcast Dudesy... Its incredible
All of Will Sasso's latest stuff is filling up my feed and I am not upset about it. He's so underrated as a comedian and actor.
Will is funnier than the last 20 years of SNL
Loved the guy as far back as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Figured it'd be a long shot the movie would be mentioned but my fingers stayed crossed
Fuckin A man those Ventura impressions were incredible. I’m dyinnn 😂😂 💀
I love Will Sasso - I could literally listen to him tell amazing stories for a million hours! ❤
This guy was amazing in Shameless season 6 as Yanis 😂
I download your videos before I go to work and listen to them all the time. They give me something to look forward to and help the day go by much quicker. For that, thank you. You’re awesome.
" wuuut ? wuuut ? " lol i love Will !
Sasso Is An Acting & Performing Beast. Legendary. He Has Always Given 100% In Every Thing He's Done. The Type Of Performer Who Can Lead & Support.
"The great Sam Roberts" lol I'm sure Sam would love that Will said that
Have enjoyed Will Sasso since I first saw him on Mad TV years ago! He is such a down to Earth dude and humble as hell! He is wicked smart, hilariously funny and talented. I would LOVE to see him do a "Tony Soprano" because at times he has all the facial features and ticks that "T" had in that role! This interview was a real treat for us Fans Chris...bet you were thrilled to get this man to sit down and chat! Cheers From Ohio To The CVV Community!
His Kenny Rodgers Jackass skits killed me and the roomates back in the day, loved his Seagal character and so many more. Those days it was all about wrestling, Mad TV, Mr Show etc... The late 90's/early 2000's were an amazing period, prob the golden age of western culture.
I agree with Chris on the Hell in A Cell match between Edge and Finn, but at first I thought they were doing the EMTs as a spot to get on top of the cell at first and then I was like, “Oh wait, they’re really cleaning him up because blood is a no no.” …. 🤣
I laughed so hard at his "What? Who? Where?" bit on SmackDown. I never thought about someone doing a Ventura impression, but that was fantastic!
Omgosh this is amazing! I’ve loved Will since MadTV - He was fantastic in that and I have loved to see all the wonderful work he’s done since
Will's abillity to keep the bit rolling is amazing
The Bret Hart bit was exceptionally interesting. Comedian versed in slapstick meets a professional wrestler!
One of the greatest actors without a doubt john candy
Two legends talking and doing impressions of legends, just a very entertaining and amazing episode 🔥🔥
Love will sasso even from the mad tv days. His impersonations are always comedy gold. Shame his career didn't really take off eventhough he's way more funnier than a lot of the cast of snl.
This guy brought me so many laughs growing up! Great interview, buddy!
This is awesome I love seeing 2 of my favorite people talk wrestling!
One of the best interviews I've seen in a long time you know it's good when you forget you're listening to an interview.
I’m a big fan of Will since his Mad TV days and a wrestling fanatic! I always thought, Wow he’s great with all he’s interacts in the world of professional wrestling! Now it makes perfect sense. Great impersonations as well!
That Bret Hart impression is spot on.
He was one my all time favorite cast members on mad tv growing up. I still look up just podcast stuff up for a laugh lol. You got a living legend to come on ya show. Talk about lucky and privileged
One of my favorite Sasso film roles was as a morgue worker in the 1999 Doctor Who film.
Will loves WWE so much he even got Vince's mustache 😂 legendary and the heart of Madtv
That Tom Brady AI stand-up is mind blowing. It is better than 90% of standup out there. Insane.
Hilarious interview from Sasso. Would’ve liked to hear more about his time with Chris Farley on Beverly Hills Ninja. He does a hysterical impersonation of Chet Walters during the movie that’s just as funny as Will.
This was amazing lol the impressions are spot on
Will Sasso is an icon of my childhood because I will never forget staying up late on Saturday nights to watch Mad TV. It was a bit of a magical time because I was a kid and of course back then in the 90s everything was still edgy and wasn't all pathetically hyper political correct like it is today, (Wokeness is Brokeness) so seeing controversial comedy late at night when I was a kid felt special or maybe even a bit rebellious.
Will Sasso was the best cast member on MAD TV and I absolutely loved him as Curly in The Three Stooges film from 2012. He's my favorite version of Steven Seagal...speaking of which, as Will Sasso lost weight, Steven Seagal gained weight.
Yes he was absolutely the best thing about MADtv I loved his skits with Alex borstein when she played his sister hilarious. Such an amazing time to be alive
My favorite Will Sasso role was when he was the crazy bouncer on How I met Your Mother. He is a big guy and I wouldn't want to mess with him.
Great interview..
Is it just me or would Will make an excellent addition to the WWE creative team
What a fantastic interview. Truly enjoyable.
That Vince impression is underrated as hell 😂
Been waiting so long for this to upload!
He is the best Curly impressionist next to Curly’s grandson
John Candy in Uncle Buck was a classic.
Absolute classic!
Love Will Sasso, he did great in The Wale 😂😂😂
😂
He played a great Curly in the Three Stooges 2012.
One of my favorite comedians. Those bret and steve moments were so great and I totally agree with Will about John Candy. He was incredible and pt&a is one of my favorite comedies. I also watch every Thanksgiving.
My universes have collided and I'm all here for it. Thank you both!
This guy is a phenomenal impersonator. What I love even more is his DEEP love, respect and knowledge of the wrestling business! Dutch Mantel, the Dangerous Alliance, Iron Mike Sharpe. Bravo my friend.
THAT VENTURE IMPRESSION IS INSANE
