    The large sensor on the PCB you refer to as "carbon monoxide" and "CO" is actually Carbon DIOXIDE or CO2, unless you have some different version of the weatherstation that I am unaware of. It uses non-dispersive infra-red for the gas concentration detection.

    Thanks for the video. My main module developed a antenna fault. Took it apart, soldered the "spring" antenna and it came back to life. This video helped me take the module apart.

    Hi! When you powered up the devices outside their cases, I noticed you wired up the external module - could you show us how you did that? I am sick and tired of the batteries dying in the external module! Thanks!!!

    The damage to the outdoor module's battery pads happened to mine too. Intermittent contact with battery. I think it was more cheap design. I tried electronics cleaner but it didn't help too much. Sanding it clean would've worked but I suspect it would go bad quick. A glob of solder on the pads would probably be best.

    Towards the end of the video you power up both. How did you connect the smaller module? Soldered the cables?
    I am thinking bout putting them in a different casing and powering them differently, shouldn't be a problem, right?

      I have put my outdoor sensor in a Stevenson cage, removed it from all its housing material, whereby the sensor is now open inside the Stevenson screen, fed by a large 12V battery I already use in there through a solar panel on top of the screen, step-down converted to 3.7V, I soldered the power-cabling onto the battery connector areas on the small netatmo board. I isolated the entire electronics from corrosion etc by coating it with plastic-spray. When I did that of course I shielded the sensor to not coat that too ;) Has worked for me for months without issues now.

    so have a same problem my co2 sensor show 4996 and max down is 2400 and in the module we hear like a little screw noise sensor is hs ?

    A better antenna could powers the reception in the external module?

    Thank you for the video; I have to pick up the 868MHz Antenna to the roof-top to place the outdoor sensors up there and get them into connection. Know I know what I have to do :)

    Hello and congratulations for the video! I would like to know what size the first hex driver you use for the external module! thanks

    • @sessionfiddler
      @sessionfiddler 4 года назад

      1/16 hex fits. It looks like a Torx head though.

    Hello! A child dropped netmo, the CO2 sensor always shows 0 but if i blow on it CO2 grows, I think the motor in sensor broke, what do you think, how i can repair it?

      I've read elsewhere that it is a T9 Torx

    Barometer sensor just all of a sudden flat-lined on ours. These electronic weather devices are a waste of time and money. I'm going back to the good 'ol Aneroid Barometer!

  • @deimosmuc

    which torx size do you have to use?

    • @Meowbay
      @Meowbay 3 года назад

      t9, but a really long one, so usually the ones with bits don't fit in those holes, you need a really slender driver pin for it.

    It's not a CO sensor, it's a CO2 sensor. Way cheaper..

    "It's a carbon monoxide sensor" Really?

    ¿868 MHz o 433 MHz?
