The Eddie from this series of press junkets is the Eddie we've missed for 20 years. I haven't seen him this relaxed, funny and catchy in a LONG time... This junket alone has been 10 times funnier than all of Coming 2 America 🤣

I'm writing that it's Wednesday June 26, 2024 and Beverly Hills Cop and Beverly Hills Cop 2 is available to stream on Netflix. I'm positive that Beverly Hills Cop 3 will become available to stream on Netflix. Beverly Hills Cop Axel F will become available to stream on Netflix on Wednesday July 3, 2024. i believe that it would be really fun to be able to binge watch all four Beverly Hills Cop films back to back on Netflix anytime you want to.
Someone will be able to read this in 50 years and wonder what life was like for us during the time.

Great interview. You really brought out his silly side, he's been delivering a serious tone with prior interviewers and that's fine bc HE'S NATURALLY FUNNY even when he's serious but you made him wanna do Comedy leading him into imitating you as a kid. He has to sit through a lot of interviewers all day and you inspired him to wanna be funny. Great job.

Why are you discussing R rating . Beverly Hills has changed actually more crime. Even saw heist and looting in youtube video. Movie should be hard to reflect that
Axel reconciling with his daughter... just what we want to see in a Beverly Hills Cop film.
I hope this isn't another bait and switch where the male figure is the screw up, the daughter is always right and saves the day etc. This looks good, but I think there's a real reason why they haven't shown the daughter much in the marketing... Wall Street 2 did this, Bill And Ted 3 did this, even Ghostbusters Afterlife did it and so on. Beverly Hills Cop films are action comedies, not family melodramas.

How odd is it that Murphy barely looks at the inerviewer??
Eddie plays to the camera - and the viewer. A lot of actors do that. He splits his time looking at me (the interviewer) and you - the audience. An old-Hollywood trick because he knows it will look better.
Why the huge publicity for this ?!? Most people have Netflix already anyway

Eddie Murphy could've stopped making films, 20 years ago. And he'd STILL have the most legendary career than any of you anonymous haters could EVER dream of!!! BTW, JoBlo: I didn't know we're both the same age (....assuming you were 7 years old, during the premiere of "BHC", in the Spring of 1984).
i saw the first beverly hills cop movie at around 7 or 8 also, some might say i was a little too young to watch some of those movies, but i was mature and knew fact from fiction and things like that so i knew not to emulate what i saw in that

There has to be the nutty professor 3 to show Sherman his wife and kids. I have a script... Sherman has to retire as a professor and juggling with 5 kids that can be played by Murphys own kids with fat make up. Loses his wife (Janet Jackson) then comes up with an invention of time travel or something big.... no pun intended then goes back relive there memories over the past 25 years and gets his wife back. What you think of that script Eddie Murphy ?.
