  • Did you know there are seven different crosslinking technologies for HA fillers? Not brands, technologies... and each technology is unique and exceptional in its own way. But as providers, are we expected to understand and remember how all of these work? Is there a way to group them together and simplify the rheology?
    Absolutely, and I’m here to help.

    Hi Dan. I do understand the properties and how you are describing these things. But I do wonder if you could do a video on how to compare the numbers that we are given. When we're reading about certain pillars, looking at the numbers given in the specs. What do they mean? Which numbers do we look at to figure out the hydrophobility or the viscosity? Knowing the viscosity of a product has been very difficult for me. Because I'm always looking at the molecular weight per milliliter. And apparently that's wrong, so what does the? Molecular weight per milliliter. Actually tell me is thatIs that which it moves or how Well it retains its shape? Thank you

      I don’t personally use fibroblasts treatment, however I’ve heard it provides decent results. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be the best person to guide you on this technology.
      Thanks for following. Next video will be up in a couple days!

    Hi Dan, great video! Short but very informative. I will be getting chin filler in couple weeks by a cosmetic nurse but I’m worried about vascular occlusion. Also, because she’s my friend’s sister, I just want to support her but I need you to reassure me on this. Could you you tell me if there are any vessels in the chin that could lead to an occlusion? What should I be watching out for? Thank you

    The manufacturer usually tells you where to inject, i.e. fine, derm or deep.

    Dr. What would you recommend for tear trough area which hollows out to a bit of the cheek?

    When injecting filler to the zygomatic or mental bone do you inject with the bevel of the needle facing up, down, lateral or medial??

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  4 года назад +1

      Andrea Hovind If you’re going in with a needle and inserting at a 90° angle to the bone, stay the course. If you’re going in parallel with the bone using a cannula, bevel up is what I recommend.

    Hi Dr. which type of HA would you recommend for nipple injections, also it would be fantastic if you made a video showing the injection placement in the nipples, ie. drawing, mannequin, or live model. I’m interested in elongating mine.

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  3 года назад

      It’s a very simple procedure using a small amount of a very dense HA filler. Any reputable brand will work. It keeps the nipples erect, and lasts one year or longer.
