    I loved this.
    If you think about it, when Johnny Bravo did his poses he had no inbetweens, just keyframes with whipping sound fx :D

    Jazza, I have an Idea for you, "How to create a personal signature." That would be very useful for aspiring artists (meaning me).... if you have already done it, just ignore me, almost 300 videos is too much to sift through, lol.

    Jazza, could you please do a video on pros and cons of doing vector drawings vs pixel drawings? Like photoshop vs flash/ illustrator?

    Jazza - this may seem like a dumb question, but do you think an animators light pen is vital for drawing quality outlines?
    If so, which touch tablet do you recommend?

    Jazza I love your videos! I just have one request. Please put this tutorial playlist in chronological order!! It's hard to jump around and find where I need to be

    Love this series you've got going so far. I have a question:
    I mainly draw in photoshop, and lately Manga Studio. Both programs have some cursor input stabilization, and i effectively learned to draw in these programs exclusively.
    When i go into flash and animate things, (i've done a few animation projects at this point), i find that it feels incredibly imprecise. Drawing is incredibly difficult in that program, with the cursor input handling and the smoothing process it goes through to try and make a vector fill out of your brushstroke. Also not being able to rotate my canvas is a drag as well.
    How does one overcome this? You use different software, do you have any input on the matter?

    The one thing I can think of while looking at this douche character is "don't skip leg day"
    Also I love the new music you have playing Jazza! Not that I didn't like the old one, But I've seen so many of your videos and some are really long, and I guess that I got a tad bit sick of it haha
    Thanks so much for these tutorials!

    What about Clampett-style smear animation? can you show and tell a little bit about that? Where and when you can use that style, and what NOT to do?

    It's good for beginners to animate stickfigures. Your eyes will get used to onion skin's mess and animating full body like Jazza does won't be that hard

    why do i always see the sketchy outline as green? is there a reason for that? i ask because i see that all the time.

    • @dotConcept
      @dotConcept 8 лет назад +1

      +metroidfannumber1 I assume you're talking about the onion skins. They're there to see the previous frame which you can use to have an idea of what to draw for your next frame, stuff like positions, and so on. At least that's what I use them for, haha.

    In The Animator's Handbook there's that comic about not having enough concentration to even listen to music and animate at the same time... yet here you are... :D

    • @VikingVertigo
      @VikingVertigo 10 лет назад

      That was just Richard Williams's approach. He said that some animators listened to, for example, classical music while animating so it really depends on you. If it distracts you then don't do it. If it helps you work, than put some music on.

    • @SlinkyAnimation
      @SlinkyAnimation 10 лет назад +3

      VikingVertigo
      Absolutly this.
      He wrote that some Animators listen to classical music. Its your own opinion.
      But please dont hear music if you lip sync .... XD (that can be hard)

      I'm currently reading the handbook and I just read this part last night. I listen to jazz while I animate say a walk cycle but i've animated before with no music and feel that my animation was better for it. I'm torn.

    • @MissOkabe
      @MissOkabe 10 лет назад

      I draw, not animate, but I have found that I have trouble concentrating if I'm NOT listening to music! Hehe. But I tend to listen to movie/game soundtracks rather than actual songs, as I get too distracted flicking through iTunes that way!
