People really don't know how good Brandon Jennings was in Detroit
Nyrie Irving he was really good
Shame he tore his acl
24 & 21 game was crazy!
Dan Le Achilles* but yea it is
Way better than Reggie’s bum ass
His best year was in Detroit before he got injured smh
if it never happened i could see him averaging like 24 points 7 assist
Luciano I’m from Detroit and he had the Pistons ROLLING at one point. He was turning the corner finally and bam, he tore his Achilles. Smh. I really wished he could’ve shined here.
Iceberg Slim me too bro man Reggie hurt they should hit him up
I actually thought Jennings could shine in Detroit pistons but injury did ruin his career 😔
I think it was that and Reggie Jackson got traded there and took over the team
Jennings is way better than Reggie bum ass he ain’t helping us for shit
he was having an all star year
I had a Jennings jersey and everything. And me being a Chicago fan, I would watch him play anytime we went up against Milwaukee. Its crazy how fast his career changed. He was inefficient, but that could have gotten better with experience. I think it was the Achilles injury that was the writing on the wall
Yeah that ruined his career.
the injury happened when he was with the pistons. hes been mediocre ever since his days in milwaukee. its not like dude was a star before the injury. i loved when the bucks traded him away for brandon knight. i liked brandon knight too, i was disappointed when they traded him away for mcw.
he was playing like an all-star ever since josh smith got rid from the pistons but after a few games he got injured and from there, shit goes downhill for him.

Dana NBT NOW MY MAN IS BACK IN MIL TOWN
People forget how good he used to be
BallinlikeCP3 he was never that gpod. He was okay
BallinlikeCP3 he had good games, not really good seasons though
BallinlikeCP3 totally
He averaged 19 points and 5.5 assists, then he averaged in 17 points and 6.5 assists. Those numbers are pretty good if you ask me.
yeah, but he took like 30 shots a game, reminds me of Allen Iverson, total trash, drive to the basket throw up shit and act like you got fouled
16 Pts 12Ast 8 Reb in return !! Let’s see how this come back goes.
Matt B I ws gunna say that😂😂
Matthew B yessir 😂😂
@Mustafa Sheikh No matter what emoji you use, at least he tried a comeback, that's more than us mere mortals could ever dream about when it comes to professional sports. I'll give you this. Life is much easier to decipher with a keyboard in front of you.
"Lol! He playing in China!"
Bruh I'd give my left testicle for a pro contract in China. Jennings had more pro years in the NBA than I ever did and he was exciting as hell to watch and early on he was one of the best guards in the NBA. Dont forget that guard is the deepest, most talented, most athletic position in the league. He deserves some serious respect.
Shout outs to you for making the content. Appreciate it, bro.
Jennings was always one of my favorite players to watch a couple years back as a Knicks fan I was so excited when we signed him last year honestly he is still a solid playmaker but the triangle the Knicks ran (which everyone hated) drove BJ out I do hope he comes back to the league he’s still young
Back in the nba tonight and on his way to a triple double first game back.
As a Bucks fan, I watched his first 4 years closely. Imo, for a rookie he had a amazing year, even though he was a little inconsistent, it was forgivable since he was young. A few of his flaws was that he couldn't use his right hand to finish & shot chucking. Year after year, he just never got better, never improved, he stayed the same. His ppg went up a little, but that's because he started taking more shots. From then to even now, he still can't finish using his right hand & whenever he does (which is rare), it looks like a awkward layup. People claim his best years were in Detroit, I disagree. Go look at his game logs for those 2 years, it's very inconsistent also. He had a great stint before getting hurt which you mentioned, & that's why people think he had his best days in Detroit because that's what they remember. He actually had a even better stretch his first year in Detroit, 23ppg & 7ast in 13 games, but no one mentions that one, I'm guessing it gets overlooked because the 24pts & 21ast game during the stretch you mentioned. I think if he was really that good, he would've gotten Detroit to the Playoffs, they had 2 good big's in Monroe & Drummond. A good PG would've been killin it with those guys. I expected him to do good there because of Monroe & Drummond. I think Jenning's best & most impactful year might've been his rookie year, he led us to the Playoffs as a rookie! He showed a lot of poise, leadership, & potential that year, had Bucks fans thinking we had the next big thing. We almost upset the Hawks, took them to 7 games, if Bogut wasn't injured, we might've won!
He was horrible shooter! I’m a Bucks fan and I was happy when he wasn’t on the team anymore! Lol
Aaron Judgement Yes, it was definitely time for a new era. Jennings was never gonna get us anywhere but mediocre at best. But I do thank him a bit, because by trading him we got Khris Middleton & we also got Giannis the same Summer Jennings left. Lol
well now we know we got the next big thing in giannis. Funny how Jennings is like the complete opposite of giannis both had potential but giannis took it seriously and got better while Jennings didn't and partied and did drugs while only getting worst while being a horrible leader.
MilwaukeeBucksFan90 Longsen Lo lmao we didn’t make the playoffs with jennings because on 1 reason only. Josh smith.
You should make a video on Hassan Whiteside and his return to the NBA
“I don’t know if any team needs a backup for their back up right now” Damn 💀
Keep up with what you're doing, Caine. I love all your videos. Always informative stuff.
Appreciate it!
we are the same omg!!!
Brandon Jennings a dope player , he would be a good 6 man fit like Lou Will or J.Crawford.
I disagree those guys are scoring machines and they are usually very efficient. Jennings off the bench would still be an inefficient scorer and his shot selection needs work.
hotman718 yeah but who's to say, he still has the potential to fix this problem. And he was real young probably was a hot head who didn't really wanna hear shit from nobody. But I get what ur saying tho Bruh
Lou is a better player than jennings
hotman718 you sound stupid
@@Ognkills Is this Brandon Jennings?
Man, I remember after his stint in Europe before the league... I just knew he was going to be an elite NBA star! Smh, hate he got shifted around like this. Such a promising player. Then he somehow made it to my hometown Detroit and was never the same after that achilles injury.
Very nice vid. To the point, accurate data and good simple clip transition. 10/10
I was at that game when He got injured against the Bucks. Everyone in the Milwaukee arena went dead silent and eventually gave him an applause of respect as he was carried off court. It was pretty sad.
He actually really improved his passings skills, if you watched him, when he played with Knicks
vcorr2288 exactly
I used to love watching his high school mixtapes back in the day. I loved his passing ability and unselfishness.
I can't believe this guy is out of the nba. I remember when he got injured and it was devastating because he was rocking that year with Detroit. He was playing fabulous. This man certainly deserves an opportunity to go back to the nba
Brandon is such an exciting player - hope we see him again soon.
2
i actually was just on ur channel and I saw u posted a second ago so i clicked so fast😂
I absolutely love your videos
He's back brooo!!! 🙌🏻
Jennings was one of my favorite players growing up I was 9 when he was in the league and now I am in the nba
bruh he was so good in 2k he had dribbling moves like kyrie
I watched the whole video :)
Great video
He’s back!!!
Caine = 🐐
So glad my boi back in the league with the team he started with the Milwaukee Bucks 💯
Good vid 👍 👍
Love that outro music!
He was so fire in high school
Now he's back !
Huge piston fan during his era 😭 that Achilles tore my heart
Lmao wade 😂
I'm laughing at Wade right now. If he was on the Bucks, his ass would've got swept too smh. Wade been ass since 2013
OmniscientVirtuosity Wade is a legend. He paid his dues.
The true legend is the White Mamba.
Heeee's BAAACCCKKKK
flames
Joe Schmo dude said flames lol. He can get hot but he isn't as good a shooter as I thought
Logan Harter bruh I called the video flames lmao , Cali always makes 🔥 videos
Joe Schmo hahaha im dying man hahaha
Joe Schmo call it flame but not flames lmfao bro you geeked
Logan Harter bruh if you say flame is means just one flame or a little fire if you say flames it means its rampant and hot af
Terrible shot selection, mediocre defense, injuries... He was the worst backup point guard in the league (along Ramon Sessions) last year.
His career boils down to this: he was a decent young player, tore his Achilles, was no longer fast and became a journeyman, out of league.
He just signed to the bucks G-league team
Brandon Jennings can still play in the NBA. One of my favorite players and always will be. ❤
This dude is a pioneer. The man is the 1st player to both skip college & play overseas & is the 1st person/athlete to sign w/ Under Armour.
He's back in Milwaukee and had a really good first game back
One of my favorite players
he’s back
Noti Gang Cali CREWW
Me?
Ayo T fuck you im just tryna show love to the one of the best basketball youtubers
Ian Paulino lol noti gang bitchhhheesss
Ayo T bitch your prob just a fuckin 10 year old who’s skin is translucent
Ian Paulino bitch what? Translucide skin?
Noti gang
I think a shoot first PG like Jennings just doesn't last long in the NBA, he takes too many bad shots. All the shoot first PG's are top notch players, Kyrie, Westbrook, Lillard, Curry, etc. Jenning's just isn't on that level, so if he's gonna shoot like he is, then he's not the type of player teams would want. He plays his game & his game only, he doesn't play within the team's system, it reminds me of streetball.
He actually was a good passer but yeah he wasn't efficient.
Like Monta Ellis
He ruined his own career. Off the court he partying all the time and was high all the time. He never worked hard or developed a jump shot.
Justin Rakestraw exactly he would probably be in the league but he had more mouth than game. Teams don’t put up with that shit.
Justin Rakestraw
Stephen Jackson was high during games so..
One thing you didn't mention, he's a lefty and is HORRIBLE at finishing with his right which makes him very predictable and relatively easy to guard. He also had an attitude problem when he played for the Magic.
Yup! This is one thing fans don't seem to notice about him. I'm glad I'm not the only one to mention it. I'm a Bucks fan so I know for sure he can't finish with his right hand. It's crazy, dude was in the league & playing bball for so long but never learned or never got comfortable finishing with his right hand! I saw some highlights of his games in China the other day & he still shy away from using it.
Only some people remember that one game when Brandon was on the clippers when they beat the bucks. He dribbled and showed out on his old team mates 😂😂😂.
He's back
amazing style and floaters
i was at that 55pt game, that was off the chain!
He is back
I always loved watching him... I think he can get a chance but I agree with you... He will have to be a back up n he has to improve his efficiency
Jennings is a monster, the NBA game has changed, its all about high efficiency 3pt shooting and super teams.. Jennings played a lot of hero basketball and was kinda streaky , plus he lost a lot of explosiveness when he blew out his Achilles.... I wish him the best tho he was one of my favs to watch... who remembers him and Monta Ellis in the backcourt!!!
My fav pg
one of the best among the best I wish I could ball in China as a pro combo would
He always been raw to me
Man life you can't let it get you down to the kids younger than me you might think your good at something but when you start boarding flights to different places you might start realizing your just average.
Jennings and Monta Ellis is the ultimate bad efficiency high volume duo
He is so underated
Anyone else have his signature shoe back in the day? Was a huge fan of him
you provided good analysis, going over efficiency statistics and his weakness shooting pull up jumpers with know one their to rebound. looks like Jennings got his second chance with the bucks!!
you said it right there b.jennings needed a good coach at the beginning of his career
I’m new to this channel, if you haven’t talked about Kawhi Leanord, please post one!
the year before that 55 point game he averaged like 2 point a game on sub 40% shooting in euroleague ... i still cant believe that he really score 55 in a nba game
Still one of my favorite PGs he’ll be back still got talent
born and raised in milwaukee...im a huge bucks fan....we had high hopes for jennings but he just didnt pan out....we got giannis now!!
He was the main starter in Detroit before that ACL. If he never got it he would still be starting.
They better get him back he cold!!! I loved Brandon
He did another brief stint with the Bucks in 2018. But aside from his first game back where he almost scored a triple double it was a pretty quiet performance once again.
Watched whole video
Jennings was amazing on Pistons
Goddddd damn bro him and monta Ellis use to be my go to on 2k12 bucks all day baby haha
I can’t believe nobody has picked him up.... he’s an nba starter no doubt and he can’t eve land a spot on the bench it’s ridiculous..... Jennings a beast
Him and monta was probably one of the best back courts in the league at that time
Nothing last forever, but great run Brandon
As a Pistons fan, it was pretty sad when he ruptured his achilles. I honestly forgot about him after that tho.
Gg I remember I loved watching him in Detroit just taking over
Jennings is one of my all time favorites.. sad to see this, i was hoping that the Lakers would sign him before when they needed a PG but he ended up with the Knicks.
Jennings started to get triple doubles left and right in Detroit, he can hoop. Great 6th man, nothing more then that though. His play making is great in the right system. I think he should still in the league somewhere honestly, despite how small he is
I remember that Warrior game. Our defense sucked so badly and we didn't have an answer for Jennings.
I'm glad BJ played for my Pistons he was great in DET we had great chemistry but SVG couldn't coach us to the playoffs.
Top of my head cavs and clippers need a backup for their backup point guard
Brandon Jennings is A Great player , and will be back in the NBA
Yeah stats are stats but still
just watch he's NBA games , Drew games , street etc
what happend to trey burke? he had 12.8 ppg in 2 seasons in utah. now he isnt even a factor in washington
He put up decent numbers because he used to be on a bad Utah team. He was just a weaker version of Jennings.
Kat Damn shame too, I was rooting for him since his Michigan days.
He plays in the G-league
Went to New York and slightly remade his career
I can't remember the last time I heard Monte Ellis' name in forever
RobDon last I her he was on the warriors
Smh the Achilles injury derailed what was gonna be a crazy year for him.. still one of my favorite players tho
I remember telling people before he got drafted that this kid would be the future. You couldn't believe how good it felt to watch him drop 55 in just his 7th game and rub it all in my friends faces.. with time they got the last laugh though.
It's just a shame, I used to watch him dominate high school games dropping 50 or 60 a game.
Brandon Jennings the 🐐
lol at "not everyone makes it to the end"
He played today and played pretty good
That was heartbreaking when he suffered an injury in Detroit because now we're stuck with Bobby Shmurder AKA Reggie Jackson
Man I remember watching this dude in his Milwaukee years thinking he was about to become one of the greatest... Tragic
please do a what happend to Gerald Wallace?
Retired and got old
I feel like b Jennings has just been found out the league has found out how to not let him shoot well
Did he ever shoot well?
