Nice. Tip for the aluminum cleanup... try a cheap random orbital sander with scotchbrite pads. Gives an awesome even matte finish without any of that sandpaper scoring. It's what we do in metal shops often to give an even finish and knock down any little imperfections... then wipe clean to get rid of the dust. Infinitely better than sandpapering by hand!
I would hold onto that printer and laminator...I get you like to focus but a year ago, I said you should keep making the street signs and now they're back haha. Little by little experiment and practice, you can add so much with it like printed vinyl for the signs, freebie/promo stickers, and you already have it
I don't know why, but my Orcal 651 black is always the easiest to peel. White was always a pain in the butt for me but I just kept adjusting the pressure and over the course of time I figured it out to what works for everything on my plotter.
I have a sg2-540, i love it man. It makes all my wraps, signs, and designs come out beautifully. Im buying a graphtech 9000 this week, i just have to print so much now and the roland is an OK cutter. Not sure where u are, but if youre ever in illinois you should swing by! Ill show you how to kill it with that machine haha.
Hi. I really liked what you do and decided to do the same in Poland. I found tools and consumables. But I can't find aluminum at a normal price. Can you tell me where is the best place to buy aluminum and frames for it. Thanks in advance.
What sign is the alum plate blanks. What is the cost per blank? What do you sell them for? You have a very huge large printer cutter. Do you need one of those to do the same thing?

@@Printshedco Yes, Leave it for a while too, I am unsure about roland but usually you can pick a set amount of time it will sit for. Leave it for a couple or more hours if you can then do some routine cleans. It should push out those blockages. I would also not worry about calling a tech to come out and fix that. I have see people run prints daily with way worse heads.
@@Printshedco Weird. I mean you are missing a significant amount of the nozzle but I would say not enough to have a major streak problem. If its only happening to blue than yea keep trying the head soaks and see if it can knock out some of that stuck ink.. If you are getting streaks in other colors as well you might need to do some calibration
Nice.

I think on Amazon then I cut it down to fit the table
Can u send me a link to prive out the printera and pressed
Can I ask why you don’t sublimate the design and name onto the metal blank like you do the photos?
I have in the past but customers like real street signs a lot more than sublimated signs. And these look nicer than printed ones
You can clean that blue head easily. You need to do some head soaks
I did one and nothing really changed. Should I do a few more?
