Didn't say anything about "get rich quick ". I asked about cost and profit. Unless you have money to burn you still have to make some profit or your just giving it away. Just because it might by a hobby doesn't mean you can't make some money.
How about showing the part before all this. The part where you do the print setup on the computer, what program/process the send to the printer. What are the printer parameters.
You need photoshop to adjust the size of the image and colors, tones etc. Then for printing you need to talk to the ink company about the specs. If this guy told you what he does it probably would not work for you. Here is what I do: I use photoshop for image adjustments, Epson eco tank printer using sublimation ink that I buy online. Then the ink company gives me a file to put in my computer called an "ICC profile." The ICC profile allows the ink to work with the printer. Different printers have their own unique ICC profile file. It sounds complex, but after you do it twice it becomes easy. I hope that helps.
@@CloudR-x1p no problem. glad to help. I use TexPrint R. You can find it online at places like coastal sublimation and heat press nation. Do keep in mind that different printers print better on certain brans of paper, but I have never had issues using this brand. This paper brand also works great with sawgrass printers.
I've had a few prints where the heat tape left a spot on the print that the image didn't transfer. So basically there's a slight white spot where the heat tape was. I'm wondering if I pressed the heat tape down too well, and maybe when it expanded it made a slight gap in that spot. I notice you kinda put the heat tape on without really pressing it down too much. Have you had that happen? Just a little blank spot on the print where the tape was..
@Printshedco Really great video!! Is there a reason you wont answer where you get your blanks from? Are you selling a vendor list? or just gatekeeping because I see several people asking and you did not answer not one of them and I went all they way to the first comment to make sure I didn't miss the info.
Is the VEVOR heat press good enough for high quality prints? Also, are you not concerned at al about the vapor coming out from the sublimation process? Some say it might be toxic which deter me from doing it at home
With all due respect. That’s not an American flag. A few too many extra states (stars and stripes) 😊. Your work is a great example of what and how we should do things. I will be joining your classes soon. There’s no one else (I haven’t found) who could be as clear and to the point with your educational narrative. No time wasted and your prints are always looking perfect. Thank you again.
Thanks for the video. I just found your channel through the Google Algorythm. Your demo was excellent! I learned a lot. What wonderful prints you make, wow! I think once you see how photos look on aluminum, paper is no longer a medium that satisfies. I want it all in aluminum now. Thank you for an excellent demo! The lack of any music is very much appreciated. ❣❣❣ fyi- Yes, I would get an air compressors to blow out dust. what happen when pressing too long or to much heat. or when u do 2 times press? (if u only had a small heat press machine but the poster is larger) please answer... 😊
Im curious how/why theres such a large discrepancy between the times of others? I am just now starting metal prints, Ive done one that looks fantastic, I was at 390 for only 50 seconds. Im ordering a large bulk order of blanks and Im going to press for the 4 minutes and experiment.
It depends on the quality of the blanks like the thickness and top coating. I don't understand either why there's so many different potential settings. Lots of experimenting

your "heat tape" is not heat tape, that would be for gutters/pipes to keep them from freezing, what you have is thermal conductive tape. the foam tap is not foam tap, that would be for actual foam, instead you used a double sided tape with foam. small words big difference, This is why people look at you strange when you try to pick stuff up at a brick and mortar store.

Cool idea
