You can route comms through the shoulder straps, and through the plate bags in other places. It actually works pretty well. The two short horizontal bits of webbing on the side of the front bag are meant for Spiritus's tubes cummerbund, and do take tubes. I use the AXL equinox cummerbund myself, and I find the whole system works well.
I really wish the tubes attachment points are higher on the front panel. They take away the advantages I could have had with equinox and I still need tubes adapers yo achieve it
1. There are cable pass-throughs under the fastex buckles. 2. The webbing on the sides of the front portion is intended for tubes and they do work well. 3. The hole on the bottom of the rear plate bag is for Integration with the DARC recovery handle system.
As soon as I got my WTF Plate Carrier 13 I found myself making comparissons between it and many other low vis/low profile carriers, the lv119 being one of them. I still prefer the more affordable, simpler PC13 over pretty much everything
Thanks to 8492 nylon works, he created a velcro panel that ties onto the grid for attaching the cummerbund so you can use velcro cummerbunds with the 119.
The comms routing points go in all directions. There's actually more places to route, front and back than you might think. They've even added routing points running up behind the MOLLE between the buckles.
There is Comms routing into the front plate bag. Stick your finger underneath the pieces of webbing that hold the placard quick release buckles. There's a small pass through directly underneath. It's hidden but I promise it's there.
Arbor Arms have those called as FRC Kit. It's both elastic, sturdy, and have 3 options of closures, :First spear tubes, Taktik buckle, and solid velcro,
Unfortunately I really like the lv119 in every aspect EXCEPT the stupid straight straps. They cut pretty hard into my neck. Well, that and spiritus' pricing.
Not a trash rig but def cheap but still sturdy ig terrible straps super uncomfortable constantly digging in ur neck way to overhyped get ferro velocity
@@EODFish I should reiterate that it’s cheap to make but quadruple the price it cost to make it’s like there almost trying to monopolize there product with the way u have to buy it as well

The bottom pass through on rear plate bag is for the DARC/recovery strap.
Aww shucks. I knew it was something like that.

What plates did you use?
@@marcostadeo3577 SAPI-sized training/fake ones. I must admit I wore it for airsoft

The Grid is actually a V•XV Concepts product. 8492 carries them in his store. 👍🏻
@@vitriolic1568 thanks for the correction.

I was just searching through your channel for an LV119 video last night! Awesome timing

Ik this is a loaded question but what is your personal favorite plate carrier? I can’t figure out what to get and feel lost lol
Hello there i have the otb version. Do you know how to setup the cummerbund. Specifically mounting to the back of the plate
From just reg manufacturers whos plates are on the market hesco dfndr seem to be the only companies thats making 9.5x12.5 esapi med plates.
Wish there was a stretvh skeletal cbund with some rigidity in the back for lashing and wasnt cell based

I've never noticed the T-block llama before.
The Straight shoulder straps convinced me that no one at Spiritus Is Muscular build cause that shit will fuck your neck and traps up
Oddly, they have plenty of pretty stout dudes there.
About time lol, great video and review
I wouldn’t even call this one mediocre. I clearly need to do some more digging on the cable routing.
@@EODFish even so its better and indeepth more so then the 100s of other RUclips vids on it
Swear I met you at a SBT years ago
SBT?

No chance at all. Never been associated with the water.
For anyone looking for rear options, he does tho there
There is a pass through for comms, its very hidden though.
Looks blah when just sitting on the work bench 🤷🏾♂️ thanks for the review tho 👍🏾👍🏾
Strange feedback, lol. Spiritus does their own hype, I just conduct gear ASMR.

I think the LV119 is very fairly priced but the straps are not ideal at all.
