I’ve found that flipping the TQ pouch to the top of the belt mounted trauma kit will stop it from flopping and reduces the possibility of the TQ slipping out. Awesome kit and great video 🤙
Thank you brother. I try to give as much transparency about the kit as possible so that way people understand what they are paying hundreds of dollars on.
I use the same ATS mag pouch, but it’s on the other side of the buckle, so the magazine itself kinda fills that dead space over the buckle. Great video! (ODST patch is dope)
@@Paddy_Tac I have never thought about placing it there but I totally understand the why behind you doing that so I’ll definitely give that a try next time I dry fire.
I've been having an issue with the bison belt where it keeps coming loose which is a pain in the ass. I'll be getting a triglide to fix that but I wish the buckle worked properly from the start.
@@jacobagnew8111 I was having that issue too for a bit until I rewatched the belt video on ferros channel and I was able to make it more secure. Placing something like electrical tape over the existing velcro that secures the slack or you can tuck the lip of the slack into the tegris. ruclips.net/video/TvHQUm2eeZc/видео.htmlsi=KDxuYtuT2lMcsNdw
Thanks for the video. Looking to get a new duty belt for ARV work that is low profile. Trying to decide between the Ferro or GBRS belt. You said the GBRS starts to flex with pouches on, would you say the Ferro is more rigid?
Used a bison belt for about 5 years straight. Absolutely loved it, she finally died on me after hanging an m320 off it for 3 months. Money well spent. I’m thinking about getting that ATS mag pouch, how’s the retention? Also for your JSTA I’d highly recommend the wisemen company 1R1 if you don’t care for elastic
@@TheGruntPerspective That M320 is hard on every piece of kit it touches huh? ATS mag pouch is legit, uses a kydex insert to keep a secure retention even while running, crawling, bumping into stuff, and taking hard falls. It runs only like $25 I think which makes it super cost efficient and the fabric is also durable as hell. Only “downside” is the real estate it takes up but that’s depends on where you want it on the kit because it’s a bit longer. I just looked up the 1R1 and immediately bought it because I am getting tired of elastic so I’ll let you know how it performs.
There is lots of cool information in this video, but how well does the belt keep your pants attached to your waist? Is it adjustable to size 52? I'm looking to get one for my wife.
@@bhipper2027 The belt keeps the pants on well enough even when putting a bunch of kit/ gear on it. The wife will need an XL belt you’ll be able to find it on Ferros website it’s in stock in all colors right now except for multicam black. Here’s the link brother. ferroconcepts.com/products/the-bison-belt
The arbor arms inner belts have done me solid for the last 8 years of working on the railroad. I've blown one of the g hook loops for the little G and was able to just adjust it with the tug velcro. Finally retired that belt last year after the velcro gave up.

Subscribed! Great content, keep it up!
Thank you I appreciate it a lot! I’m working on something that’ll be up sometime this week.

I will just be stronger next time but thank you brother!
Great comparison with those other belts. It really gives people insight into the different problems that manufacturers won’t discuss.

100% the ferro belt is more rigid and gives a good flex for those awkward movements.

I would look at the ciguera gear emissary inner or the arbor arms inner. They both have a better way of securing the belt instead of just Velcro
