I want to thank you Dr. Dray I went To the Dermatologist both my daughter (18) and I. I had a questionable area that had been thought to old acne scar on face. My daughter had a questionable area on chest. Well, mine was basal cell. Hers was Pre Melanoma. We both had surgeries. But are very BIG believers of the sunscreen !!!! Your diligent message regarding sun screen and skin care made me go!!!
You’ve changed my skin!! I wish RUclips could allow picture comments. You would be thrilled (: cerave has been my number 1 ever since! My bank account & skin thanks you tremendously LOL.
haaykaytee same here!! I’m so grateful Dr.Dray influenced me to try CeraVe! I don’t think I will ever look back! My skin irritation, redness, and breakouts have reduced greatly since using all CeraVe!
X F the hydrating facial wash, sunscreen 50spf, night time renewal moisturizer, and their regular nighttime moisturizer. I also picked up their retinol serum!! 😭 my skins the best it’s looked since forever
Your videos make my day Dr Dray! Think it would be so cool to see you to a video on laundry detergents and cleaners you use around the house. Since these things make contact with our skin often I think about it!
Yes! Would love to see your input on green cleaning products vs regular cleaning products, since all of that definitely comes into contact with our skin.
Dogs have an amazing ability to pick up on certain words, it really is surprising. You can't even say words like 'walk' 'treat' 'peanut butter' or 'chicken' without our dog going into a manic frenzy because she thinks she's going to get one of these things. They also have great hearing and can even tell the time, to a certain degree. Every afternoon at about 4:30-5:00pm she will wait at the top of the stairs because she knows my mum will be home from work soon, yet she doesn't do this on weekends. Even if my mum showers and leaves the house around the same time, she somehow knows it's actually a Saturday, which leads me to believe they can also differentiate between days as well. I think they pick up on subtle nuances in our weekly routines and habits and associate them with certain behaviours and outcomes. They're a lot smarter than we give them credit for.
The Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil has been a favorite of mine since high school...I use it right out of the shower and it seals in moisture very well and dries quickly. Now Target has a store brand of it I use instead, cheaper and identical. Thanks for a great video, stay safe at home everyone!

What do you use to get the zinc oxide off if you use a sunscreen with heavy zinc oxide in it goes deep into your skin how do you get it off without scrubbing it to death?
@@KaraLey98 Hey Kara, I use CoTZ Flawless Complexion Tinted SPF 50, or Baby Bum Fragrance-Free SPF 50 both with a 20% Zinc Oxide. What I use to remove both is Albolene to help break down the sunscreen and mascara then use a wet gentle microfibre towel to get it off. I then go in with a double cleanse, and moisturizer. I used to use micellar water but found that it takes one too many cotton rounds, switching to the Albolene really sped up the cleansing process. Hope this helps! :)

Wash off, then proceed with the gentle cleanser. Just ideas. I do not know if they work but hey I figured it's better than no ideas/solutions :P
@@KawaiiKandi, thank you for writing these ideas, but the actual cleanser is the problem. I don't always wear makeup so CeraVe did a good job, but then.I started wearing makeup twice per week, so I used Ren cleanser, one which removed makeup very well / then I finished off with CeraVe after using Ren for makeup, so then I finished off with CeraVe, and that worked fine. But which balm/oil are you talking about, that's my problem. REN won't work for zinc oxide. Most cleansers advertise they are "oil free". So I'm wondering what works for others. Thank you for your helpful ideas. Someone else suggested oil also, so that is what I'm going to try, though I would prefer a ready made formula continuing an oil. Thank you for the suggestions!

Thankyou so much Dr Dray for your invaluable information and help. I love your vlogs but hope in this time of social distancing continue to make videos. Subjects I'd love to hear you talk about is 1. Signs to look out for that indicate you may have sun damage that could indicate skin cancer and the steps a dermatologist may take to diagnose and treat. 2. A skin routine we can suggest to our young teens who are going through puberty and struggling with acne. Thanks and have a great day.
I just started using the Cetaphil Ultra Gentle body wash and I love it. I was afraid that it wouldn’t feel as “fresh” with no scent (body was was my one scented hold out), but I have to say I’m truly enjoying it and will buy it again.
I've been thinking about all the handwashing and hand sanitizing people are doing lately (which is great!) but I feel the subsequent emphasis on moisturizing to protect the skin barrier is missing. Do you agree?

Plantation molasses is the best. You can use it in a glass of milk n stir. Better then choco milk. The darker the milk the stronger the taste. Kids like it pretty light in the beginning
Oh that touching moment between your mom and Tybee just before you said goodbye! :-) and we all know why Tybee was snoozing, it's work to toss all those toys all over the floor! He had a workout! :-) glad you guys are practicing social distancing and I hope you, your mom, and Tybee are having a great day , so glad you have each other.
This video was the next best thing to actually leaving the house! I lol'd @ "It's like punching yourself in the face.' (re: Irritating lip plumpers). 🤣😂👍
Tybee is "The banana whisperer".... lol.. I love it ! My Teddy (who looks like Tybee) is the biscuit whisperer. :-) Like many, I have been feeling SO much anxiety during these days, yet your videos are somehow comforting... and educational. I temporarily have no job so I am going to use the time to do more running/exercise and take better care of myself and those I love. I hope you and your so very sweet mom stay well. This too shall pass.
I have actually fallen out of the shower more than once slipping and trying to hold my balance. The one that got me the worse was the body oil. My 80 year old dad yelled “ what are you doing in there “ as if I was throwing a party or was demolishing the bathroom. I yelled back “ I’m checking the floor for pieces of shattered bone “
I have been doing this with my dog Ashes. His sister Layla plays with multiple toys at once and scatters them all over the living room. Ashes wimpers while playing with toys now because he can't wait to "clean up" and put them in the box lol
I have used Two bottles of Cetaphil Ultra Gentle fragrance free body wash - I love it! It smells like chocolate to me. I prefer it’s texture over the hard-to-come by cerave wash. I don’t like the bottle - it’s hard to get excess product out when it’s almost gone. I would buy it again, but it’s hard to come by.
Dr dray i have a question, is the nano spray (makes toner and water have nano particles to penetrate "deeper" into the skin) works ?? Or is it just a big gimmick
Happy Sunday! I have Aveeno Soothing Baby bath treatment with natural colloidal oatmel! I also use it as a mask occasionally. I make the little recipe you gave us in one of your videos. Tybee is a little rascal and will be developing other tactics over the next few years. I'm glad to see you and your mom are doing well. Take care of yourselves.
Flan much lighter than crème brulée. On another note: I bought a body cleansing oil (Cerave red) and didn't like the way it made my tub slippery, so I decided to use it as Part 1 of my double cleanse, if only to use it up and not waste it. It worked out well for me.
The Neutrogena serum does work for mattifying if you mix it with hydroboost moisturizer. It seems to buy me a couple extra hours before my oily skin shows up. But seems to work best when mixed with the moisturizer. Doesn't work as well when applied first, separately.
I have been wondering too. Specially since I have scalp psoriasis. It has helped me with the flakes I get. I'm just wondering if it will mess scalp in the long run.
I know that consistently scratching the scalp in an irritating way can cause hair loss over time by damaging follicles. But thats usually people who scratch their scalp impulsively from dandruff, psoriasis, or from skin-picking compulsions. Don’t know about scrubs but if it’s especially exfoliating and irritating like a salt or walnut scrub, I’d imagine it’d be the same thing. If you’re using it to remove product buildup, though, there’s definitely better ways to do that. clarifying shampoos are very stripping so they should be used sparingly, but they’re good for when you have a lot of product buildup or you’re about to dye your hair.
Question: You may have already spoken about this, but tonight I noticed spider veins around my nose. I'm 51 and hadn't noticed them before. Is there anything that I can do at home to get rid of them or am I just stuck with them?
My Maltese/Yorkie ( Morkie- more Maltese) Does the exact same thing. With the bananas /blueberries!! and he actually hides from them? Pounces like a cat? About 20 times. He loves his toys too. They are so much alike. Mine is 4 months old. He is here w me watching you every night!! Xo 😘
So good to see your smiling faces today. I need to put that Eucerin Face & Body Wash on my list. Neutrogena has certainly introduced many new products. Your apple oat bars look yummy. Thanks for this video and take care!
The Eucerin Skin Calming body wash is not at all slippery. It has a foaming quality that makes it rinse clean. I'm curious if the first Eucerin product you suggested, the body and face wash, would be as good for KP as the Calming Body Wash?
Neutrogena is not cruelty free. Careprost is the generic version of Latisse and a lot less expensive. It gives me great results too. Stay well Dr. Dray, Mom and fur child.
I never knew you could use the Neutrogena body oil as the first step for double cleanse! I've been looking for available oil cleansers in my area but couldn't find any nice ones, thanks for the tip :)
Terrific new recipe Dr Dray! This will make a dent in my dry goods stash I'm fast running out of ideas for oats. I have mango chips and maple syrup, however these bars can be frozen too so I may invest in a nutty spread. Healthy Isolation Recipes 😊
Dr. Dray, what do you think of the Boscia cactus gel moisturizer!? Can you please provide your input? I've got extremely sensitive skin that seems to be allergic to everything like Cetaphil, Neutrogena, CeraVe and even some Aveeno products. The only one that seems to work for me is the Aveeno Baby lotion, oatmeal formula. It doesn't puff up my skin into a large tomato, where the swelling wont go down for days.
I have good results using the Aveeno fragrance free baby wash to remove sunscreen from the body. I have dry skin and it doesn't dry me out at all. The only Cetaphil cleanser I use is the gentle formula for the face. I like it quite a bit and it's fragrance free. :) I love the Aveeno skin Relief Moisture Repair cream with their oat complex ingredient in the big tub! It's for very dry skin but isn't greasy or sticky. It has a sort of gel/cream texture that glides on very smooth. :) Hope you, your mom and Tybee are staying healthy and safe. :)
I've actually tried that Eucerine body oil wash stuff to remove makeup on dry skin then rinsing off as a first cleanse. It works really well, but it kind of stung my eyes fyi.
Agreed! Very good at removing water-resistant sunscreen, but stings the eyes. I feel like this would be great as a body wash to remove sunscreen from the body.
@@felixt.8354 I tried it for that, too! It does work very well! :) I would say my only complaint about it, aside from the eye stinging, is that it smells a little fishy.
Lip plumping products are the funniest thing to me. It’s just irritation in a bottle, and that’s actually the whole point. But I mean hey if it works, it works. As long as you aren’t finding your lips are getting damaged from it, I don’t think using it sparingly will be that bad.
Hi, Dr. Dray. Would you do a video on cleaning supplies with no fragrance? I am having the hardest time finding a product to clean the kitchen floor that doesn’t have a fragrance.
WAP Bon Ami and Bar Keeper's Friend. I just found those with google! I also know my sister used vinegar, and baking soda when her kids were younger (: hope that helps some.
I have used the cetaphil body wash (no fragrance) in Australia and I don’t like it that much. It’s VERY thick. Can’t smell any fragrance which is good though. QV is far superior.
I'm here for the advice about how to get heavy zinc oxide sunscreen off my face & neck every night. This is my biggest problem associated with wearing sunscreen daily. CeraVe, & other similar cleansers don't work. PLEASE just give me a choice of 2 or 3 products. I don't want to go shopping and think over all this stuff, & be a "consumer". It's getting to be a real pain every single night the same problem. Nothing I have tried, unless it's harsh will cut through all the zinc oxide.
@@e.a.4926 , Correct, I have not been watching for "literally years". Also, I'm unable to get out in the stores and spend a lot of time window shopping for products. I need 1 or 2 good suggestions with actual names, not the vague "cleansing oil" reference without a product name.
The Ordinary’s Hylamide High Efficiency Face Cleanser works like a charm for me. I cake on my tinted mineral sunscreen 3 times a day and that face cleanser takes it off with no problem. It’s available online and you apply it to dry skin

You’ve changed my life w your educational videos ❤️ love you dray
Thanks 😊 for helping us get through the “shelter in home” (California). It feels so apocalyptic out there and watching your videos brings some normalcy.
Plantation molasses is the best. You can use it in a glass of milk n stir. Better then choco milk. The darker the milk the stronger the taste. Kids like it pretty light in the beginning
These are my favorite videos Dr. Dray. Will miss them in the coming months. Wishing you and your mother all the best.
Enjoyed this video! So nice that you have a close relationship with your mom!
Isn’t sunscreen important for scars too? Does UV radiation make scars more visible? Thanks Dr Dray. Staying home with you!🥰
I believe it makes scars more visible or darker. Always wear sun protection regardless of scarring!
It sure does , makes them nice and purple
Awww...love seeing you & your mommy(&furr baby)! Truly heart warming! Hope your doing well! 🥰🙏🏽♥️💜♥️💜♥️💜
Hilarious reply! My husband complained about my Redken All Soft conditioner, said it was slick as snot.
Shar Roon Way funny 😂
dr dray what do u think of the new neutrogena makeup remover balm ?
I’m trying to teach my dogs to clean up all their toys! If they can take them out, they should be able to put them back!! 😊
I like it when you take us shopping with you 🤩🤩🤩
The Neutrogena serum does work for mattifying if you mix it with hydroboost moisturizer. It seems to buy me a couple extra hours before my oily skin shows up. But seems to work best when mixed with the moisturizer. Doesn't work as well when applied first, separately.
Thanks for helping us get through such difficult times. You are such an inspiration. I always look forward to watch your daily videos. Stay Healthy !
Your mom made my day at the end!
Dr Dray what are your thoughts on Scalp Scrub products? Are they necessary? For example: Body shop has a Fuji Green tea scalp scrub
Taytay Queen I want to know as well
I have been wondering too.
You and your mom and doggie are so adorable 😍 thank u for another fun, informative vid to get our minds off the horrendous pandemic for awhile!
Question: You may have already spoken about this, but tonight I noticed spider veins around my nose. I'm 51 and hadn't noticed them before. Is there anything that I can do at home to get rid of them or am I just stuck with them?
Loved the bar recipe at the end!
Stay safe guys!🙂
My Maltese/Yorkie ( Morkie- more Maltese) Does the exact same thing. With the bananas /blueberries!! and he actually hides from them? Pounces like a cat? About 20 times. He loves his toys too. They are so much alike. Mine is 4 months old. He is here w me watching you every night!! Xo 😘
I love it! "This is competing with Mr. Clean?" LOL You are so funny. I love these videos, thank you!
Glad you, your mom, and Tybee are doing well! 💕
The Cetaphil Ultra Gentle Body Wash, fragrance free, is a winner.
daniel squier except the bottle sucks. But I do love the product too!
Can u tell me thoughts on dove
@@beepbopboop3221 it depends on the person. Dove works wonders for me
This was so so cute!!! Your mom is so sweet. Thank you for all you do Dr. Dray!! Glad you both are staying safe xx We love you!
So good to see your smiling faces today. I need to put that Eucerin Face & Body Wash on my list. Neutrogena has certainly introduced many new products. Your apple oat bars look yummy. Thanks for this video and take care!
Happy Sunday!
The Eucerin Skin Calming body wash is not at all slippery. It has a foaming quality that makes it rinse clean. I'm curious if the first Eucerin product you suggested, the body and face wash, would be as good for KP as the Calming Body Wash?
Happy Sunday Dr. Dray 😀 Stay safe and healthy
Your mom is so sweet!
Awwww love your mom...she seems sooo sweet 💜
Your place is looking really nice, love the clean look of it.
Happy Sunday, Dr. Dray.
You should post the bar recipe in description box!
That’s so funny about Tybee. My pup will come running when she hears me removing the sticker off of the apple! She’s addicted to apples.
So glad for all your insight and knowledge.
I've never seen Eucerin Bodywash.
Flower Child it’s a baby wash, it’s super gentle and nice I know they carry it at Fred Meyers but I don’t know we’re else sorry
Happy Sunday!
Thank You Sooo Much!! Happy Sunday To You Too!! I Hope Your Having a Great and Safe Day!!
Lip plumping products are the funniest thing to me. It’s just irritation in a bottle, and that’s actually the whole point.
But I mean hey if it works, it works. As long as you aren’t finding your lips are getting damaged from it, I don’t think using it sparingly will be that bad.
I use the Cetaphil ultra gentle fragrance free and I am happy with it. I have really sensitive skin and this one works for me.
Hi, Dr.
My dog is the same! We call it the banana tax (having to give him a bite of every banana).
Your mom so adorable 🥰🥰
I Agree!! She Sure Is!! I Just Love Her!!
I have used the cetaphil body wash (no fragrance) in Australia and I don’t like it that much. It’s VERY thick. Can’t smell any fragrance which is good though. QV is far superior.
Michael McNish I would love it if QV were available here. Sadly, it’s not.
DBND it’s really good. I’m sure you have some brands that we don’t have either. Cerave is so limited here.
I appreciate you posting. I need to shop vicariously right now💙
You the best! I look forward to your vids.
❤️ meeting mom and puppy!
Thank you for the consistent video uploading, Dr dray! I am just curious. What do you think of face or body wash for hair?
I'm here for the advice about how to get heavy zinc oxide sunscreen off my face & neck every night. This is my biggest problem associated with wearing sunscreen daily. CeraVe, & other similar cleansers don't work. PLEASE just give me a choice of 2 or 3 products. I don't want to go shopping and think over all this stuff, & be a "consumer".
It's getting to be a real pain every single night the same problem. Nothing I have tried, unless it's harsh will cut through all the zinc oxide.
Is this the first Dr. Dray video you've watched? She has been talking about using a cleansing oil to remove sunscreen for literally years ...
