I wouldn't know where to look for this amount of games and reviews without your channel, man. This basically is the only youtube gaming channel I watch and really need. Keep it up.
Honestly a masterpiece. One of my favorite games. So happy that it got a current gen refresh. Looks better than some games coming out today… and that says a lot about how well this game was made. Just a great experience overall
Nobody is talking about, but I compared the closed beta with the original PC version, both in 4k, and textures and antialiasing are considerable better now, did anyone notice?
they need to update the game so you can turn HDR on and off and adjust the brightness of it and turn Motion Blur and Film Grain off and on PlayStation 5 so you can turn the Adaptive Triggers off and so that you can turn the controller speakers off
That's fair, these ones can be somewhat hard for navigation at times. There are guides though to help out as well these days, but I totally get how that aspect can be an issue for getting into this.
I did try from the ps plus version and was thinking of getting it but then was bit lost with the game plus had issues with Climbing system @@Skycaptin5
@Skycaptin5 ok but nothing happens it doesn't begin to install and it doesn't say it needs to be updated before I can play it I looked it up and apparently a lot of people have this issue I don't have a Xbox One but I have heard it works fine on there it is a brand new game that I bought and I have just received it a few days ago I have a few Xbox 360 that are Backwards Compatible and they all work fine on my Xbox Series X
@@DdDongDd-007 ya I don't know what to tell you here. You could try using the Xbox App to download the game, and then maybe the disc would grant you access to it. If that doesn't work there's not much I can do to help you.
Sucks that this update removes Auto HDR support, and has no built in HDR. Not a big deal for most, but on my LG OLED, SDR gaming is too dim for my liking. LG OLEDs don’t allow peak brightness in SDR Game Mode, and top out at (I believe) 200 nits brightness 😢
@@kaikiske7436 I’ve seen this happen with a few games recently and it’s really bothersome. Going from having Auto-HDR to an SDR image (especially when you’re already used to how the game looks with Auto-HDR) is really jarring!
@@Skycaptin5 the Ray Tracing is cool, and overall the visuals are better. But without HDR support, gaming is too dim for my liking. Idk if you use on OLED or not, but SDR gaming is like turning the brightness down on your phone or tablet to 25% when you’ve been using it at 75% normally (in HDR). SDR in Game Mode limits brightness to 200 nits brightness iirc, whereas HDR gaming is 850 Nits on my LG C3
I hate this updates, the game looked good, I was able to play it from my HDD, now I have to f*cking move to the internal SSD of my Xbox and do freaking maneuvering because I don't have any space left, Killer Insitic ate 80+ Gb of storage from smiliar update and looks the freaking same (also got BG3, Halo and other next gen updates eating more and more space) and damn, is annoying to wait 20+ min to move a game and DLCs to play another game, and probably didn't fix the bugs and glitches, only put some make up and turn the digital convenience into aan storage annoying experience. And, of course, there's no option to turn back to the previous version in digital because "F you". RDR1 have an graphical enhancement and didn't have to change it to a next gen space stealer game, same generation and looks awesome, a "realistic" game. Sorry, I have to bent my frustration, I just turned on my console and realized that I have little space left and have to manage storage to freaking play, as an adult I don't have many spare time to spend.
I got an 8tb seagate gamedrive hub(HDD) pretty useful, but moving a game takes less than 2min, transfering a game goes at 1.33gbp/s( no kidding) and I've had the same problem as you, seeing darksiders 2 up in the list with an X/S badge 😂 but the transfer speed is reaaallyyy fast with seagate gamedrive, I am curious what you are using. don't mind at all now.
I also hate these forced 4k updates 😡 this is very anti consumer. It forces people to buy ssd's just to play 360 and Xbox one games which normally play happily on HDD with PC, PS5. PS4, 360 and Xbox one etc. I never asked for half my old games to be 4k I never asked for half my old games to only play from a SSD.
@@МухаммедАли-б7дYou shouldn't have to buy an SSD to play 360, Xbox one, PS4, switch or PC games 🤷🏽♂️ this is anti consumer. My PS5 does not force 4k updates of old games 🤷🏽♂️
I'm really into twin stick shooters and it's somewhat like that. It was just a different takes on Darksiders. I'll have to revisit it since it's been a very long time. I did review it at the time on the Xbox One X: ruclips.net/video/ThKwxQ3Mm3U/видео.html but I'll probably have to do a Series X video on it at some point, sort of odd that I haven't.
@@Skycaptin5 all in due time I suppose. The closest thing I’ve played to it is halo spartan assault. But maybe I’ll give it a try soon. I think if I do I’d wanna play it co-op
@@Snowfreak357 definitely a coop game if possible. It's just, a neat spin-off of the series. I wish more games sort of attempted things like this, keeps the franchise less stale.
@@dawuanaustin8045 I've been playing the 360 version on series X at 60fps due to a bug. Every time I launch the game, I start a new game on another slot, let the cutscene play (you'll notice right away it's 60fps), then quit and load my game. If I load my game straight from launching the game, it's a choppy 30fps.
This is one of the reasons my family and I rarely touch the series x anymore. Too many 360 and Xbox one games are having forced 4k updates which lock the games to the internal SSD for playing. and there's no way to revert them back to their normal 1080p formats so you can play them on a HDD. I'm very tired of having 30 updates every month or so to install.

Great channel! I’ve been watching your videos for a while and you’re always first to cover games that get these types of updates. Appreciate you!
I love this franchise. Strife needs his own game.
I’m playing the updated version on PS5 and it’s incredible. Looks and plays awesome and it’s still a great game that has aged very very well.
Wish they had an option to UP the camera sensitivity
The first game is amazing
