Set in a world of anthropomorphic felines, this series follows the high-flying adventures of Chance "T-Bone" Furlong and Jake "Razor" Clawson. Members of Megakat City's elite law-enforcement agency, the pilots become grounded after their pursuit of archvillain Dark Kat sets them at odds with the headstrong Commander Feral. Reassigned to duties at a military salvage yard, Chance and Jake create their own high-tech jet from discarded parts and dedicate themselves to protecting the city in their secret identities as the SWAT Cats. Armed to the teeth and ready to roll, these masked vigilantes continue their quest to bring down Dark Kat and other threats to the city, including recurring baddies the Pastmaster, Dr. Viper and Hard Drive.

@@gcHK47 Actually there were 7 afterburners at the back. 4 were hidden and were only use if they needed to cover extra altitude.

I'll tell ya one thing i just turned 31 in December of 2018 N i first discovered T-bone and Razor just about exactly 10 years ago.
N all i havta say is holy hell is this cartoon AWESOME!!!

Of the two intros, this version is absolutely the best, screaming guitar always makes my arm hair stand up.

Yup...both intros were pretty badass. When that logo with t-bone popped up and the guitar hit, I'd get super hyped as a kid. Still gives me chills hearing it even now.

@@actisac If it was considered too violent in a time violence was the norm in tv shows (specially cartoons) it just might actually have been. 🤔
I just remember watching them on CN and thinking they were great tho, although they really were quite violent, i mean the attack of the tomatoes cartoon (from the same decade) was practically all violence from begining to end.

Loved this show. I used to rush home from school to catch this in the evenings. Back then there was no internet, no Netflix & no concept of binge watching. You either watched the show or waited like a week or so for the rerun. T-Bone was my favourite character.
Believe it or not, this show is one of the reasons why I love action films of the 80s & 90s so much.
This show started me on my path of comic books and cartoons and now I’m training to be an animator!

Golden era
I think it was early 90's when such great shows had aired on CN back then. Swat Kats, GI Joe, Centurians in Power Zone (4pm IST, Mon-Fri), and Ninja Robots Anime (90's), then in 2000's He Man and The Masters of The Universe; Dragon Ball Z, BeyBlade, Pokemon, Max Steel, Cardcaptor Sakura etc. Man those days were Platinum days... I'm very happy that my childhood witness such awesome timeline. Now, after 2 decades, when I watch openings of these shows, tears appear in my eyes... #Nostalgia 💖

Man, what a banger of an intro. I don't remember too much about the show itself as it simply wasn't around very long, but I'm sure I liked it. Heck what's not to like, a pair of anthropomorphic cat mechanics defending their city with a souped up f-14...

How the F-22 Raptor & F-35 Lightning II heavily modified & customized into Turbokat's next generation multirole fighter jets?
That Turbo-Kat was the highlight of this show and of course the ingenuity of T bone and Razor in building cool cat themed gadgets weapons and vehicles!
Loved this show. Shame it lasted only 2 seasons.
I remember being home late at night watching boomerang while my parents were asleep, saw this come on for the first time... Needless to say, my parents weren't sleeping long after the episode ended. Still one of my favorite cartoons I wish I could watch again.
This intro was what got me into rock and metal music.

This is the show I didn’t watch much when this was shown in the UK, but both intros make this show so memorable. A lot of people prefer the second intro, but in my opinion, both this one and the second intro are fantastic.

Before I actually saw this cartoon and got into it the first time I ever saw it was on WB if you can believe that now I watched it on Cartoon Network with my brother later on it took me a while, but I got used to it is a great cartoon, great memories. In fact, I’m thinking about getting this on DVD to add to my collection of Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
