I finally decided to upgrade from my 2019 MacBook Pro 16" (i7 - 16GB - 1TB) to the M2 Max 16" (32GB - 1TB), and the difference in performance is huge. Over the last year I started creating high quality videos, switching from HD to 4k and I had to use Proxies all the time for editing.
Even with Proxies, my latest Mac couldn't handle it very well. In order to save time and speed up my workflow I had to buy a new laptop. My experience so far has been great, especially in Premiere Pro, which is the main software I use for editing all my videos.
However, I thought it would've been better in certain aspects such as using multiple 4k footage stacked up to each other or handling better heavy plugins like the RSMB which I use all the time. This is probably due to Premiere since I saw other creators using FCPX doing the same but without any lost frames.
Apart from that, this machine speeded up my workflow and reduced the exporting times a lot, which translates in having more time to dedicate to other projects 👌 Hope you enjoyed this one! More and better videos will come ✌️

What is the monitor model?
What made you choose the MAX, need the screen or CPU more?
I choose the Max over the Pro because I need the extra power to render my videos and images faster. Honestly I need both the screen and the extra GPU cores, I also use Blender from time to time and I've experienced crashes on basic stuff on my last Mac, but with this I'm not worried anymore 😁
