Regarding "what would people do if no government - fight or chill?" the answer is "yes". People that happen to be close to each other are likely to tighten the community and help each other as they share needs and concerns. But as such communities meet in search of resources they can't locally produce and need to get outside, they would be more likely to start fighting and less likely to share. Simply due to less capacity to recognized others' need for the same resource.
I once overheard two little boys talking about life with no government. One said, "People should have no gover'mint. They should just be free like tha' am'nuls in tha' fores'. Tha' am'nuls don't have no gov'ment. They must be happy!" The other boy, who was older but was just beginning to learn English, said, "No gummint:"" He shoved his fists together to represent conflict and then added, "Fight!" I shook my head and said to my wife, "They have no idea that they've already exhausted the subject." [The older boy had lived in a war zone, where the problem had been, not the lack of a government but there being TWO governments competing over which was going to govern his village.]
@@dontmessageme5579 I later heard the foreign-born boy describe how his village exchanged hands multiple times. Both the government forces and the rebels behaved in much the same way, he said: "Car: give-it-to-me! Cow: give-it-to-me! Money: give-it-to-me!" Poor little boy. Poor village. Poor country (it doesn't matter which country - a country which has a war is always a sad, suffering country).

Im asking this genuinely and not to be offensive but do you have trouble with reading or speaking when reading/reading aloud? Again not an insult. I just want to let you know that as a viewer I have noticed some things that make me think of such. This is mostly your cadence; the way you speak - Speed, confidence, tone and the space between words. The biggest thing for me as a listener is the inconsistent spacing between words increasing a bit when you get to a larger word or a word that's spelling isnt easily determined phonetically (by just sounding out the word's individual letters) I do know some people w dyslexia or other stuff can have trouble w reading. I have had a thing when i was a kid where i would have my eyes twitch randomly when reading alot. I am saying this to show you its not a insult or me implying you are dull. Also exhaustion could be a part of it you are making alot of videos relative to their length. Also I do assume that you dont cut the audio because you leave in the inconsistent spacing between words. As an editor myself I cannot stand listening to myself unless the audio sounds perfect or atleast 99.9% perfect. I can handle one or two small mistakes but i cannot stand for example me mispronouncing a word or pausing too long or even speaking too fast. A suggestion to help is to expand your vocabulary. I know this sounds dumb but the more words you know the more consistent you get w pronounciation and less chance of mispronounciation which both work towards giving that confident cadence of speech that every youtuber thats popular has. Confident, perky and full of energy/life. Again you clearly arent dull as you demonstrate with your content.
Considering that at a couple of points he muttered about some of the entries being strange, he clearly didn't author what he's reading. Couple that with the misinformation on some of these theories and it's likely the entire thing is a ChatGPT or other AI generated script being read in a single take and then being edited to add in images. Either that, or he's just found a website or subreddit full of these things and is just reading them off. edit: It's the later. At an hour and fourteen minutes, he says he doesn't see how some of these are end of the world scenarios, but he didn't come up with them, he's just covering them. He's not researching anything or possessing any understanding, he's just finding a list and adding commentary.

Said it once, and I say it again. You are killing it, dude! I genuinely mean it, you know how well you are doing and it is important you acknowledge that. Cheers, Brother!
Well, one would certainly want to kill it when one is discussing the end of the world.
You’re getting these out at an absolutely insane rate man, keep up the good work 👍
thanks man, your vids are great!
@@Snook_YT how do you get em out so fast, do you just do the script in one whole go?
@@kibbylolit sounds like a chatgpt or Wikipedia read out loud. He doesn’t delve into it any deeper or try to explain it further. Which is fine but very easy to do
@@shosc16yea it does sound like it
@@shosc16 He also screws up lots of terms and has no understanding of their meaning, like when he thought "memetic" was "meme tick" and was all about internet memes... It's either an AI generated list that he did a single google search on or he's just reading it off of someone else's website or maybe even Reddit.

Bro is pumping out videos. Keep it up my man!
Small pronunciation error at 15:42 = It's low *latitudes* , not altitudes. ;)
I enjoy your iceberg videos very much. If I can give a small amount of constructive criticism, I would work a bit on your annunciation. Other then that very enjoyable videos, I’ve been binging them the last few days.
Agreed. He’s gotten better, but the audience and narrator would get more value out of these videos if he did a read-through beforehand and researched new/unfamiliar words.
Really love ur vids man
I love your pronunciation of certain words, really catches me off guard. Keep up the good work!
nice video man, keep up the hard work👍
Good video, though some pronunciations were off. Would have loved to see you actually talk more about the fantasy/sci fi "joke" entries instead of brushing it off as such
He can't, he doesn't understand the subject materials. At an hour and fourteen minutes, he says he doesn't see how some of these are end of the world scenarios, but he didn't come up with them, he's just covering them. If this was his own list and was actually scripted, there wouldn't be entries that he can't explain the presence of.
I'm surprise i haven't turned on all notification on your channel, great content
As an apocalypse media lover, I appreciate this video. 👍
Another W vid from snook keep it up man
to anyone who might be interested: the grandmapocalypse refers to the game "cookie clicker" where the grandmas become eldritch like and suposeddly take over thr universe. It's a fun little gag in an otherwise uneventefull game, still its a joke entry.
bro what i thought that its just a clicler game lmfao
@@paw0960 Some clicker games have very deep lores, cookie clicker has that storyline ,not much else tho, still, a nice flavour
Lmao i can hear anarchists saying 'WORLD ANARCHY IS PEACE IT'D BE FINE' in the back already. Grandmapocalypse is just a cookie clicker refrence.

I think this refers to that no matter how hard you try and how far ya got,
In the end , it doesnt really matter.
love you content man
dude you are killing it, keep it up
Great job. I'm a cook in a busy cafe. I always tell my kitchen hands, slow it down. Don't rush man. Take it easy, slowly.
I think your videos are really good, but, a little bit of constructive critism, you read your script like a robot. As you make more videos, try to be more fluid. Maybe even take an online speech class. I look foward to seeing your future uploads and progress :)
Love these videos, i can listen to them throughout my 10hr shift on and off
Honest question. How much of this narration is written by Chat GPT? It doesn't feel very organic. I think it would be a lot better if you explain in your own words and don't make it sound too much like you are reading a script.
Consistent bangers listen to ur videos to start my morning at work and to wine down at night
Honestly love the video dude. I think you gotta work on your speaking voice a little. Sometimes it sounds like youre reading off a script, things are worded nicely though!

They must be happy!"
The other boy, who was older but was just beginning to learn English, said, "No gummint:"" He shoved his fists together to represent conflict and then added, "Fight!"
I shook my head and said to my wife, "They have no idea that they've already exhausted the subject."
[The older boy had lived in a war zone, where the problem had been, not the lack of a government but there being TWO governments competing over which was going to govern his village.]
@@arcadiaberger9204the sad reality when tyranny and corruption comes in...
@@dontmessageme5579 I later heard the foreign-born boy describe how his village exchanged hands multiple times. Both the government forces and the rebels behaved in much the same way, he said:
"Car: give-it-to-me! Cow: give-it-to-me! Money: give-it-to-me!"
Poor little boy. Poor village. Poor country (it doesn't matter which country - a country which has a war is always a sad, suffering country).

Amazing video. Just wanted to say, great work. Only thing I might want to recommend is maybe re-doing some takes of narration. There were a lot of errors and misspeaks that brought me out of it at times... Great video though overall!
Good stuff, man. I just wanted to point out that 23:03 it’s Thessalonians, not Theologians. It was Paul’s first letter to the church of the Thessalonians. Also people usually say “first” and “second” for the books of the Bible that have a 1 or 2 in front of them (e.g. 1 Thess. = “First Thessalonians”, 2 Thess. = “Second Thessalonians”, etc.)
Keep up the good content 👊
Nice video and congrats on over 100k more subs in 2 weeks
You said neurosociety and thats not what was listed. Necrosociety was the word listed and its a totally different definition than what you inserted. That was tier 6. Am i the only one who caught that
The irony of that iceberg is those first ones are much more real, than anything going deeper.
P.S Grandma apocalypse might be reference to Cookie Clicker upgrade event which has same name.
You're incorrect about the Yellowstone supervolcano. For starters, we are not overdue for an eruption. And second, most of Yellowstone's eruptions have been simple lava flows, not giant explosions like in the movies. According to the USGS, a Yellowstone eruption would have very little consequences outside the Yellowstone National Park.
Thank you!! Supervolcano is not even a scientific term. It’s just something a BBC doc made up.
On top of which "supervolcano" is pretty much a buzzword with no scientific definition. Kind of a big whiff on the very first entry.
Such a sick video idea but u gotta put more time into these man it’s like im listening to a lecture

I cant help but hear Wendigoon's Iceberg music when watching these videos. Good stuff man.
I think the anarchy one depends on what our current state of the is, either we realize we interact with the same people and have the same problems or we constantly watch over our shoulders where kindness is easily a manipulation tactic
As long as there more then 1 human in the world we will be forever displaced by greed

I'd advise you to get a better mic and pop cover, there are pretty good cheap options and it makes it seem way more professional. Audio is super important in video, even more so in this format since the visuals do none of the heavy lifting, this is basically a podcast and thus a mic is the most important tool, don't cheap out on your main thing.
A little editing or anti echo foam thingies also go a long way.
Just found your page, great work! I look forward to watching more

Thank you so much. I needed to see something like this.
The biggest thing for me as a listener is the inconsistent spacing between words increasing a bit when you get to a larger word or a word that's spelling isnt easily determined phonetically (by just sounding out the word's individual letters)
I do know some people w dyslexia or other stuff can have trouble w reading.
Great content
