Fantastic content, really easy to follow and understand (coming from someone who isn't that good with cars)
Glad you enjoyed!
Hiya mate great video. I’ve just bought one of these and realised it doesn’t have the motor, but my existing motor in the door sounds fine. I need to watch the video again properly but am I right in saying this new regulator will work with my existing motor?
Yeah absolutely. I didn't replace the motor. I reinstalled the original one. It was working fine and undamaged.
Thank you
Excellent video mate 👏 where did you source regulator from? Audi? I'm having issues finding one and the stealership want a small fortune 🙄. Cheers
amzn.eu/d/ihiXKFW I have just had a look and I purchased it from Amazon. Copy this link and see if it works. Both passenger side and driver's side available as I write this.
Thank you for watching!!
Hope you can help and tell me where you sourced the regulator from? Thanks
@@dabler1611 Good evening, I thought I had replied. There is a link in the description for the item I bought. Both left and right hand regulators available as I write this. Thank you for watching!!
A job for me this weekend, wish me luck😂
Good morning, it is a very rewarding job. Spend plenty of time getting the position correct.Good luck.
Im trying this wednesday i just dont understand how you got the window height right and i didnt know what u meant by the paint marker
Before removing the window, draw around where it meets the frame. When the new frame is installed. It should line up almost the same.
Thank you so much
Excuse me, if the glass lifter is not damaged and the screws are indeed locked, but when you open the door and shake the window glass with your hands, there will be a gap, what is the problem?
I have had this before where the window needs re seating. Loosen the bolts holding the glass, adjust glass position slightly, and tighten. Test and adjust. You should be able to seat it perfectly. The window regulator (frame) does not need moving in this instance.
@@RRRCUK So have you dealt with it? Just loosen the screw that locks the glass, change the angle, and try tightening it again? do you mean this?
If air come in how can adjust?
