Effectivement être en approche sur la 22 puis faire un tour pour une finale en 04 c'est très rare ! J'ai eu la chance de la faire en 747-400 il y a quelques années... le dernier virage pour la courte finale en 04 est assez impressionnant !
We just came back from Bora Bora.. we will not fly Air Tahiti Nui again.. Both flights were late taking off.. 45 mins late leaving LAX not the end of the world because you get into Tahiti at midnight and won't make any connecting flights that late.. but coming back to LAX.. the flight was late leaving my 1.75hrs and we missed our connecting flight to Detroit which was a 1:30pm flight. Next flight was a red eye to Detroit at 11:00pm and it was fully booked already.. Ended up having to fly up to San Fran.. then take a red eye from there to Detroit.. I will not fly Air Tahiti Nui again. The entertainment system on their A340's are junk. Those A340's they are flying need updated BADLY!!!
Wow.. What a bad experience you had with Air Tahiti Nui. But, I'm not the one in charge of the incidents.. For the late taking off leaving LAX, you already know, I think, that you'll arrive really late into Tahiti. For the coming back, I don't know what was going on.

DSLethal wow ! What a negative surprise! I've flown air Tahiti nui plenty of times and I've always been more then satisfied ! 😦
