I think the close analysis catches a movie stunt trick at 5:56 : the attack is meant to look like a hit to the back of the head (possible severe blunt force trauma to the brain stem), but the diagnosis was based on the hit to the upper shoulder which is meant to stop the blow just before it hits the head, therefore avoiding serious damage to the stuntman but still implying the more serious hit.

An interesting breakdown, thank you... A few that may have been underestimated: -The pistol whip to the back of bearded guy was intended to be him hammer-striking into either the base of the skull(dangerous!), or into the 1st/2nd vertebrae which could damage the spinal column? -the "Bible bash" at 7:14 was him smashing into his larynx/trachea possibly blocking the airway? -the "electric face" at 13:17 was his watch firing taser barbs into the dude's face... Hence it continuously shocking him. An entertaining movie, worth watching the whole thing... But that is the most violent scene I think I've ever seen!😅
Loved the Consult, and the breakdown! I was thinking that guy with the knife to the top of his head could've gotten super lucky if the blade slipped between the hemispheres without injury to the Corpus Collossum. Of course there would still be pain and bleeding to draw the fight out of him.
Pretty sure that if it went between hemispheres it would have to damage the corpus collossum, either way that can be severed (at least partially) without resulting in death, so that is still something in his favour.
So the knife to the back would likely be even less of an issue for Galahad, as the suits the Kingsmen wear are all perfectly tailored.... and bulletproof. Somehow. Now, with that much of a thin fabric, they might not allow a puncture, but they will still allow for a FORCE, so that knife may have traumatically forced the fabric INTO a wound it created(think "Forcing a dull knife against a plastic sheet into butter"), but it wouldn't have gotten far.
(Also the explosion came from the pocket of the folded-in-half-backwards guy. The small gold device with the red light is a Kingsmen tool. It looks like a lighter. It's a bomb.)
The explosion, in case it wasn't clear, was from earlier when he was fighting the guy that he accordions into the podium. If you watch he drops something into the guy's pocket before he hits him in the back. In universe, it's a small grenade disguised as a lighter.

OOF! I love that movie and that scene is epic! Fantastic to see the analysis of what would actually have been done. Here's a note for the non-firearms enthusiasts: the pistol he is using is a Tokarev TT-30, it fires a 7.62x25mm round which will definitely penetrate a human torso, it is a fast moving bullet. I used to love this scene, now that the damages are explained properly, kinda making me nauseous.
Like Sam Jackson's character
Been waiting on this one for ages....and it did not disappoint! Bat shit insane!! Love the fact this even needed an additional consultation from another doctor.
Oh. This was uploaded 15mins ago? I'm early and I'm happy. Just love watching this gore scenes breaking down medically.
Yes, one of the best fight scene ever
This episode is the best yet 😂 laughed all the way through AND was educated.. win win
That might make the wounds worse for those who took a bullet or two in this scene (if it can get worse, it's already pretty bad!)
