- In this video we explore the Sand Bar Trail and the caves at Docs Beach before taking the scenic County Road 10 to Moonshine Arch.
The Trail rating for Sand Bar is a solid 4/10. It’s a fun entry level trail that has a little bit of everything the Docs Beach area has to offer without the technical obstacles. Essentially a cruise through a wash to Sandstone hills, optional ledges and scenic views. We had 3 stock vehicles with open diffs in our group and they did just fine. That said, I think the next truck we get will be a Dodge Dakota! lol That thing went everywhere!
Moonshine Arch is a short and sweet 3/10 on the difficulty scale. A short drive with a really cool view at the end… This mile(ish) long trail is shared with Hikers and Mnt. Bikers, so please be respectful of one another. If you like, you can drive underneath the arch for pictures. I would just make it quick… No one wants to take home a pic of someone else’s rig underneath the arch. Share the experience and make sure everyone who made the journey (on foot or on wheels) gets a chance to take pics of their own.

Very Cool.
Great video Ed!! I have a Nissan frontier pro4x stock...can this trail be done on that truck? Also, Do you guys have a group that I can join? I'm in EM, UT.
Your rig is definitely capable of this trail as well as several others in the Vernal Area. Our FaceBook group is Vernal Rally Point (VRP) and we'd love for you to join! We welcome all off-road enthusiasts so please come join us for a ride sometime!
@@edventures_4938 Thanks Eddy!!
I joined the group. I also need some advice like do you know any good fab shops to add rock sliders and lift my truck like any recommendations? In an around Eagle Mountain or SLC?
@@vishwasbodani7069 NorthRidge 4x4 and 4Wheel Parts in SLC is good. There is a shop called DrJeep in Salem that does offroad work too... Mostly Jeeps, but it wouldn't hurt to call and see if they can help with a mod.
@@edventures_4938 Thanks!!
