LTD Deluxe H-1001 STB (w/ Duncans) - soloing

This is my new LTD H-1001. I bought this guitar a month ago and she's amazing. The guitar is equipped with SM Custom-5 in bridge, and Jazz model in neck. I'm totally satisfied with tone they capture from this guitar: very deep mahogany timbre, endless sustain, screaming harmonics.

i'm thinking about getting this guitar too and putting my seymour duncan JB(sh-4) or Distortion(sh-6) pickup in the bridge.
does the guitar have a bright sound? any thoughts about the guitar?
