I’ve seen so many zombie icebergs with little to no variation in content featured, I could immediately point out the cut mossy versions of the perks on Shi No Numa
ammomatic, kino was gonna be in the game! , Look few snipers were gonna have Packqpunch versions! same information heard for years with no new information
There is some cut content to COD 1 iirc. For example a browning 30 cal. There was a mention of it in "Brecourt Manor", Sgt. Moody says to the first squad to use them but they use thompsons instead. Another thing is some more voices used for the training mission - it would've been longer but they cut some segments like turret training. Training instructions were far more specific, telling you what each button does, kinda seemed like ot aims for people who played this as the first FPS in their lives In Tirpitz, there is a line of wounded (likely dying) Cpt Price telling you to continue and that he will try hold off the Germans Burnville and Dawnville were more chatty, soldiers would announce every building being entered and cleared, in Dawnville you had the guys holding the Church call for help and one of the NPCs with Bar would say hes gonna provide overwatch
ADDITIONAL WAW FACTS: The sten was reused for BO1, exact same model and all due to the ingame file names matching WAW. Even the suppressed version cut from WAW is in the BO1 files despite never being used by the BO1 British Commandos. In the Black Ops 1 level where you go into the VC tunnel, you were originally supposed to have the WAW sawed off shotgun. It's even in the BO1 files. Part of the Farm map is in the mod tools. You can spawn the house made for the map as a prefab, meaning you could technically restore the map or make your own interpretation. Skyboxes exist for the British campaign in the mod tools, and they look really pretty. There's an unused Japanese navy officer who wears a blinding white uniform that looks really unfinished. Maybe it was for Carrier? IDK. A Remington Model 10 is also referenced inside of the WAW files which I have seen no discussion about. However it's only mentioned in strings and there's no physical evidence of it being modelled. I found it myself but I can't remember which file it was inside exactly. I would assume it'd be a 4-round shotgun like the stakeout.
Additional info: Newcastle: Returns alongside Grenade Training in COD4 Remastered. Favela: Added in MW2. Fuel: unfortunately became a DLC map (if you know, you know). Farm: While there’s no direct link between the two, the idea of a farm-based map would come to life as Black Ops II’s Farm. Ammo-matic: The idea of on-demand Max Ammos would lead to the gobblegum and elixir known as Cache Back.
i wisb we got the volkssturm it would have made playing through the campaign even more eerie as youre fighting literal civilians forced to fight, Never except for no russian are you ever allowed to harm a civilian in cod history theyre always badguys I also wish we got more factions to play as for mp they could have repurposed the cut maps into Mp maps I honeslty don't know why they didnt
Can we just acknowledge the fact that he skimmed over carrier in waw. I wonder how much of that map was reused in black ops 2. Like is there a timeline where were hitting boat bangs with springfields and ptrs'. I need to know
