I've been replaying fear (again...) and the only "scare" that still gets me is opening the door to holiday and jin. I forget about it EVERY TIME and I always jump and shoot out of reflex. I know where every alma scare is in the game and just smile and wave, but for some reason I always forget about this one, and it always gets me. Great footage btw.
@Sexy_Nutella Honesty I kinda think there abut bullshit cause the have to much health. After sinking a good 100 or so hours in over the years I can kinda circumvent them with grenades but when you are dry you just have to rely on slow mo headshots to kill them
Imo the toughest spot is the one right before you rescue Alice Wade, theres like no checkpoints for like 3 whole sections with 2 power armor guys and tons of enemies everywhere, i struggled on Extreme on that section
Even with the mixed reception of F.E.A.R 3 and 2, I still very much enjoyed 2 and I'm looking forward to play 3. F.E.A.R. 2 was amazing and the horror was still definitely there in full steam even if the enemy A.I felt like a step down.
The enemy A.I in FEAR 2 remained the same, actually was improved iirc. The issue was more so level design, both games take place primarily in office buildings, but with FEAR 1 the environment tended to be more open and be good for flanking which allowed the enemy A.I to shine. With FEAR 2 a lot of enemy encounters took place in cramped locations with usually like only one entrance which made flanking really hard for the A.I. So its still the same A.I, just not the ideal environment for the full potential of its programming.
Yeah it's pretty creepy with the jumpscares, but they are pretty tame in comparison with today's games. I actually didn't find it too scary, and the game is more focused on the action segments rather than the horror - I'd say give it a try :) it's really fun.
True, but i still don't know to this day how Spencer Jankowski became a phantom, we only see him alive in the first chapter and later on he appears as a phantom
Playing this mod with Titan or Rivarez Mod is such an amazing experience! I'd really like to see how you'd do your videos on Selaco or Trepang2 when they release or go into early access
I haven't heard of those games until you mentioned them - looked them up on Steam and they definitely gave me FEAR vibes! I'm also quite unfamiliar with the FEAR modding scene - are those two you mentioned more of a graphical update or something else?
I literally started playing this game very recently, and now I see a fresh video about it. You stalking me? XD also playing on the max difficulty btw, and hell, I love the game. Are dlcs and sequels any good though?
Good gameplay nutella , are you going to record F.E.A.R series? (after recording black mesa) Honestly, I only play F.E.A.R. 1 I did not continue to play F.E.A.R. 2 (project origins) because I was scared, especially abomination part
Thanks! I had wanted to go through this game, but Black Mesa is taking up a lot of my time right now and I'm not sure if I have it in me to do another full playthrough afterwards haha, at least not for some time. But I'll never say no, if I ever have more free time I'd definitely go back and do this game too.
I wish the games kept this and files gameplay/visual style. Its what seperated fear from other games. Not that 2 and 3 are the worst theyre still fun, just not as fun as the first/files
this game deserves a remaster
I would definitely play a remaster if they keep the gameplay as addictive as they do in this version :)
"glad you made it in one piece"
Certainly better than the other guys
Haha! Too right mate :)

The scare that always get me personally is when the cannibalized Armacham employee's face flashes on the screen. I never get over that
The double whammy ladder is pure evil.
*God* this game is so awesome to this day.
I had an absolute blast playing through it. The combat never gets old.
Nope, and it's always satisfying too.
If you guys can't tell, I really love this game ;)
If it means more videos, keep on loving it!
@@aaronvuong4677 Hell yeah man!
Its a hidden gem.. I love the AI
I had played long time ago like 2015, LOVE IT!
Solid gameplay. Your shots and tactics were precise, calculated and very fun to watch.
I'm glad you enjoyed :) I must have ran through this section at least 50 times to get a recording I liked.

*"His reflexes are off the charts!"*
1:33 Yes! Maximize every grenade. Great move. I love the fact it explodes upon contact with tangos.
you have no idea how much i love THIS FUCKING GAME
Same here. It's a timeless shooter
The music is the reason i bought this game.
The music is great, yeah. Loved the ambience in each level as well.
This music is also in F.E.A.R 2 where you ride the mech
This game was amazing. It needs a remaster.
Would be cool but the base game is still fun as hell :)
I'm not here cuz I like fear I'm here because I love your name
Haha thanks!
Forgot how much I loved that game....
Great game for sure. Gunplay is flat out amazing.
Maan gotta admit that samurai esque soldier were very hard to kill the first time I encountered them
yeah for sure. They are tough guys

Toughest spot in the game, and you ripped through it.
Had a lot of practice and run-throughs to present this in a way that made the Point Man seem like the ultimate badass!

I myself haven't played FEAR 2 but I heard it's still pretty decent. Might have to give it a shot
3 coop and mp is something else

I have this game, but too scared to play it cause of the jumpscares and stuff

I'd assume Paxton or Alma doing their magic bullshit, tormenting PM

Titan mod makes the gore more responsive
Those walking sfx though. Is he in heels?
That sound is pure early 2000s to my ears haha
RIP Ms Wade
Yeah, her death was pretty sad considering she wasn't even involved with Project Origin.
Love this game
Same here. Gunplay is awesome

*Reinstalls F.E.A.R.*

I haven't played the DLCs, but I've heard that Extraction Point is really good. Perseus Mandate, not so much.

Excellent work
Lol, I haven't used Slow Motion ability, and it was hard :)
I'll bet! The enemy reaction time in this game is insane.
Point Man kicks so furiously, as if he's been doing Tae Kwon Do since he was born!
Juegazo, lo recomiendo 100%👍👍👌
Estoy de acuerdo :)
Half life
F.E.A.R (only1)
Crysis(1&Warhead)

They need to remake this for PS5
Dude nice gameplay could play rainbow 6 Vegas
Unfortunately I don't think I will be playing that anytime soon, I still have an entire backlog of games to get through haha
