Now, many many moons ago, I used the 'Wilamette Meridian' a lot while surveying in a 'grid' at the Hanford Nuclear Area, in WA state, as well as other projects in OR. Quite an extensive, but necessary explanation of the PLSS.
PLEASE TAKE IT DOWN!!!!! ??? Really? You're worried about a video that has been seen 4238 times in 5 years??? Let's see, 5 times 365 = 1825. 4238 divided by 1825 = 2.32. Averaged out, a little over 2 views per day. And out of those, how many made it to the end? Someone is stealing your content?? No one, except land surveyors, cares about this video. No one is profiting off of it. It's just educational for anyone who surveys in the public land survey system.
Sir, the video is a great honor to you I hope you will let it stand as is. Many of us have enjoyed watching this as a historical feature of surveying in America please allow it to remain as is. Hundreds of us like the video.
I agree with Messrs. Coan & Doman- this video absolutely needs to be either removed or completely unlisted so ONLY those who have paid the LSAW to view them, can.
This video is filled with fascinating information and has a certain historical value.
Great video and information God bless this man.

Why you want to stop from knowledge getting to us, this is a good video and you should be happy we want to follow in the footsteps of the surveyors.
Being known to keep secrets isn’t a good look for your legacy. Hope you RIP Jim
