Hey everyone check out the newest video on how to replace the transmission fluid on this 2008 Honda Odyssey. This can be used for any Honda or Acura vehicles that utilize the 3.5L v6 and J35A 5 speed auto transmission. It's very simple to do and should be done at least every 30k miles as these transmissions don't have serviceable filters. Keeping up on maintenance, will keep you off a tow truck!

Excellent video. The audio was great.
Thanks for watching!
Looks like it's a simple thing to do. Maintenance will keep any car running for a while. The audio sounds pretty good!
Any word on the Edge engine? I'm interested in seeing what's going on with that.
The video on how hurt the Edge's engine is in process. The weather hasn't been cooperating lately so it's put a hold on a couple things but it should be out very soon!
In this video I'm testing out a new microphone set up so drop me a comment and let me know how the audio quality is!
You have a spare paddle because you can refill through the dipstick tube. I never remove the fill plug. Easier to use the dipstick tube. In fact, with a small 12 volt pump you can do the drain and fill through the dipstick tube. This saves the hassle of breaking the drain and fill plugs, crawling under the van, and replacing crush washers.
If you have an extraction pump, absolutely yes you can do it that way, however the majority of people don't have specialty tools like that so this is the method many would use.
