Ken, I found you a few months ago and now YOU are MY teacher. I'm pretty picky about who I listen to, since I taught biology, chemistry and geoscience for 20 years. YOU made me understand and NOT FEAR my blood lab results. Now I need to sell my doctor. I'm down lots of lbs (about 100), of which most was recent, now that I've learned more about better eating. LOVE THE BRAIN BUZZ.

I just wanted to share my experience so far with the Carno diet. First it has only been 24, 25 days since I started. I will be 61 in Nov. I accidently found Dr. Berry while goofing around on RUclips. I was hooked and a week later started Carnivore. I am 5'7" was 290 lbs, mother of 4 grown children, and 7 grandkids. I did not have weight problems until I had my last child at 30 yrs old. I stayed around 190 lbs to 200 lbs after she was born for 20 years. My husband died of cancer in 2011 and within 6 years I gained 60 lbs. Then I quit smoking and gained another 35 lbs. So I thought weight loss surgery was my only hope. Then the Pandemic hit. I now was type 2 diabetic, had severe peripheral neuropathy in my feet. It became so bad I could only stand about 15 min. and walk 5 blocks. I also have fibromyalgia and gout. Fatty liver as well. Arthritis in both knees and spondylitis in my neck. And plaque in right artery. Oh I forgot I had severe Gerds and psoriasis. So what has this way of eating done for me in less than a month? About 10 to 15 lb weight loss, Gerds is gone, I can now kneel on floor and get up without help. I was unable to do this for the last 5 years, psoriasis is almost gone , my skin is soft, I walked a mile the other day, I eat once a day and have fasted for 47 hours. Couldn't quite make it the 48 hrs. I have not had one carb pass my lips and all sugar cravings are gone. I was a sugaraholic. I will see my Doc this Thursday and will Tell her what I am doing. I am hoping she will be supportive. I am so excited about my future. I know that God directed me to Dr. Berry's video. I have never felt better.

Dana, your testimony was what I needed to hear today. God bless you and thanks for sharing. My eyes filled up as I read your experience, which reminded me why I am on this path in the first place.
A few years ago, severe RA and Type 2 diabetes ruined my life as I knew it but put me on the right track for the rest of my life. Mostly ketovore these days and getting closer to full carnivore. Healing is possible and I thank people like Dr. Berry and Bella so much.

I had A1c of 10.1 Feb 2019. I started keto. I got off the meds they gave me in 4 weeks. Fatty liver went bye bye. I went mostly carnivore in mid 2020 to fight kidney stone formation because I'd been making them since 2001. So far so good there.
Good we found this way. I have a list of about 20 some people I listen to on this way of eating and the biochemistry behind it.

I don’t have a lot of weight to lose. Years back I lost 45lbs on keto. I was convinced to do a plant based diet. Inflammation was out of control. I was very depressed. I was going through a failed relationship and dealing with heartbreak. I could barely get out of bed. In 5 short days, the depressed fog has lifted. I feel very good and looking forward to reversing the type 2 diabetes diagnosis I received last Feb. Thank God for Dr Barry. His willingness to share all he knows is a blessing particularly since we can’t trust mainstream medicine anymore.

I’m constantly reminded of the pervasive mediocrity and docile yet dangerous groupthink in the medical community. I have very little faith in it. Best advice is to “be your own doctor”: use your God-given critical thinking and access to information to do your own research. You know your body better than anyone.

She showed me Bella's video about eczema. In that video Bella said that chicken and pork are high in histamine which is not good for eczema. For the last few days my daughter has only eaten salmon and beef. It is early days but it looks like the eczema is almost gone. Thank you Bella for the great advice.

I started Carnivore on January 1 2024 and to hear those words from him has meant the world to me. That is all I have ever heard from people, doctors and sadly, myself. That I am broken. That there IS something wrong with me. That I am lazy. I have heard it for so long that I have sat here believing it. Keep believing in yourself that you can get healthy one day at a time eating carnivore. My husband and I have been eating ketovore , leaning more towards carnivore lately for over a year now and both have lost over 40 pounds. We are both 70+ years old. We tried Weight Watchers and very low fat, SAD for years, lost weight but found it again 😂. We are feeling great and look better now than 20 years ago. Try to get better sleep and decrease outside stress, build up your muscle strength and eat as Dr Berry suggests and you will feel better soon. Good luck on your journey one day at a time.

same! and most other people I talk to don't get it. they say well just stop eating. For many people, they simply don't have much desire to eat after a moderate amount of food. So when I say that every meal that I eat I only stop once my stomach physically can't fit anymore. The fact that my bodyweight capped out around 220 lbs at 6ft tall after years of eating this way, and drinking alcohol leads to people thinking I DON'T have a problem, since while overweight, I'm not morbidly obese and I do have visible muscle. But this isn't normal. It's certainly not healthy. I'm happy to be carnivore.

I eat four reasonably-sized carnivore meals ... a week! My meal times are 1:00 p.m. Sunday, 1:00 p.m Tuesday, 1:00 p.m Thursday and 1:00 p.m Saturday. Every week. No exceptions. I never feel hunger and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I start the day with half a pint (10 fl oz) of water (with a quarter of a teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda and a tablespoonful of apple cider vinegar). This is then washed down, a little later, with a pint (20 fl oz) of water. Two large mugs of unsweetened tea at 11:00 a.m., a large unsweetened cappuccino at 1:00 p.m., and another at 4:00 p.m., finally another pint of water at 6:00 p.m. That is all. I am losing weight. Sleeping like a log. Have no brain fog. I feel physically stronger and mentally more alert. At 72 years of age I haven't felt this good since my mid-20s. If the natives living in the Amazonian rainforest can thrive on eating every other day, then why can't I?

Was able to quit thru AVRT training. It was still hard to get that physical feeling out of me to loose the beer urge. Got on the carnivore lifestyle with fasting now and then. The beer urge left me finally. The light bulb went on. It’s the friggin carbs in the beer that kept me wanting more. Thanks Dr, Berry and Steak/ butter gal. I’ve been strict carnivore (for the most part) since March ‘23. Went into this as my last resort before giving up and saying “the hell with any hope of losing weight”. I was surprised at the other benefits that being carnivore brought about. Although I have lost 30+ lbs, I no longer have indigestion, bloating, the feeling of hunger, the wasted food in the fridge that goes bad, the mental drain thinking about food, no more cravings, better skin… I could go on with the side benefits, making the weight loss a secondary benefit. To anyone reading this, if you start this, make it you way of life, when you go off, you will regret having done so as I did. Not worth it.

I have a substantial amount of excess weight (My starting weight was 266, I’m now 255). I’m worried that this won’t work for me. 11 pounds isn’t what worries me - it’s that it really hasn’t gone down at all in 4 weeks. I’m plateauing already? Hat do you make of this? Zero sugar, meat and fat. I’m not snacking, I’m not eating as much, I’m not eating as many hours a day. And other than the first week - nothing.

Over 20 years ago I did Atkins for a year and lost around 25 lbs but spent most of my time looking for low carb snacks which mostly ended up being Atkins products and expensive. The weight came back times two when I stopped. Eight months ago, I found myself at 280 lbs and decided to try keto. I’m at 213lbs this morning. I eat meat of some kind with every meal, no grains or processed garbage they call food and the only sweetener I use is a tiny amount of pure, uncut stevia in coffee. I recently had a bilateral subdural hematoma accompanied by a small stroke and I’m recovering well after craniotomy’s on both sides of my head. I credit my survival to God and adopting a healthy diet in time. I’m 68 years old and, though it’s becoming more difficult, still hunt elk and deer in the mountains around my home. Elk and deer fat, by the way, don’t taste good, so I generally fry the meat in butter with onions.

I have lost 60 pounds in 4 months with even slight cheeting with keto only on the weekends. I still have 70 pounds to go to be at my ideal weight...I haven't been that light for 30 years. This stuff should be common sence butt isent. We must spread the good news.

I’ve been bulimic for 34 years ( binge-purge and exercise bulimia). I’m a mother of four, just graduated nursing school and am 44 years old. My labs are perfect except thyroid showed 63 recently & they said I have two lateral small thyroid nodules( I believe from adrenal burnout from school & exercise ).Upon researching carnivore diet & thyroid I’ve decided to do carnivore to see if I can cure both bulimia & thyroid. I would love to have someone guide like you or Dr. Berry guide me and document my journey( not looking for compensation) bc I’ve yet to find one study or reference to this way of eating and actual bulimia. Bulimia is a silent killer & most don’t admit they have it. People need actual success stories with bulimia in this space. I would love to contribute. Thank you 🙏🏻

    Swamp gal here….
I’ve been watching you ..dr ken .. & about 10 others since recovering from cancer surgery……
June 9 th I started on the carnivore way of life …..
I did really great the 1 st month the weight seam to melt away….& then it stopped … I have had a few nights I have slipped & had an late nite snack out side of my OMAD eating window. My eating window is 3 pm -7mp but I don’t get to bed till 3am& up 9am …
My suger had dropped from 299- 140-120now without meds ..
My weight loss has stopped !!!!! as of July1st.
I’m getting very sad at the weight loss has came to a stand still . I’m very happy with my suger #s .
my clothes are fittin differently, I’m pleased. but the weight won’t move ….. I’m gettin very frustrated & am crying while workin out…
But I’m sticking to it …. Bcuz I heard you say on this video “ ta give 6 months “ well I plan to make this way of eatin for my future ..
I don’t often make comments…. But I also heard you say on this video, that it’s the folks with eattin problems that you wanted to help & well your a cute little tiny gal & it’s had ta take advice from someone as tiny as you are & me being such a huge giant old gal …
But I’ve been dieting since in my teens & the only 1 that came close to helpin was Adkins . But what y’all are a sayin makes sense…. Thanks fire what you & dr ken & all the others who’ve got the nerve to get out there & spreadin the truth about “the lies my dr told me “

All who are not losing weight ask
1 - Am I being honest with myself? - if your offended, check this
2- Do I stop eating when full? - had surgery and there is no cue - but there is, look for a small sigh after you have been eating for a few minutes, this indicates you are full even though you don't feel full
3-Not all calories are created or behave the same in your body!! Calories in to calories out is a REAL THING, sedentary people burn minimal calories, but it doesn't matter if you are true with numbers 1&2. As the weight comes off you will start to move more
    4- PATIENTS is key

So important to discuss "hunger healing signals"! Thanks!!! Even though I am eating Very low carb Keto, (have had a 45-50 lb weight loss), I still notice the tendency to binge eating. The STOP trigger I came up with is making a cup of tea. Still struggle with the question: am I hungry or am I filling my lonely/sad/depressed/feelings with food. Love this video, excellent!

What works for me, in regards to fat intake, is not to limit fat but also no add extra fat of not necessary. So for example, if im cooking a steak or chicken I will add a spoonful of fat (butter, ghee or tallow usually) to my pan. But if im cooking ground beef, I dont add any. Im not out here eating sticks of butter haha. I am down 57kg so far, I still have a way to go but I am feeling physically and mentally a million times better. I think the great thing with carnivore is that although it is "restrictive", there are so many ways to experiment with it and tweak it to get the best results for you x

I’ve got my diet dialed in (not quite carnivore, I added a bit of fiber to “solidify” things after a month of dealing with that particular carnivore symptom) with the help of videos from you, Dr. Berry, and a few others, and I’m shocked how quickly the weight has been melting off. I’m only hungry when it’s time to eat, have more energy than I know what to do with, and I’ve notice my tastes have completely changed to where I don’t even find the junk all that appetizing anymore (a big change compared to previous, unsuccessful attempts that weren’t as well formulated). Thank you both for the wealth of knowledge you share, it’s been a game changer for me.

I’ve been carnivore since Feb 2022. Im 79 now. At first the arthritis pain went away and in general feel better. I’m 4’11” tall. Weigh 141. I used to be 5’2”. Cannot seem to lose weight and I’m very frustrated by that. I’ve never been more than 50# overweight in my life. I’ve been diagnosed with leaky gut. Digestive issues cause me to not sleep well. I take BP meds. I’m not ready to give that up. My husband is 84 and we eat out a lot. He feels like he’s doing me a favor to not have to cook. Sometimes that’s nice but it’s more difficult I know even tho I give specific instructions about how to cook my meat. Now, my knees are bone-on bone and I’m considering knee replacement so I can walk better. But want my health in a good place to get approved for surgery.

Hi Bella, thank you for all your amazing work in the carnivore community! I am on carnivore since February 2023 and never felt better. Btw I am a classical singer (I admire classical instrumentalists, like yourself, I am too lazy to practice so much! ;)) and pleased to say that sustained ketosis didn't dry out my throat, which was one of my concerns about the lifestyle, though there was an adjustment period, but my throat is sufficiently hydrated by now. Just wanted to share some tips about emotional eating. Long before I even considered carnivore, I read the book by Geneen Roth: "Women, food and and God", that shed light on the emotional aspects of eating, and of course it applies to men the same way. Geneen suggests techniques to develop mindful awareness of our eating habits, discovering the connection between emotionality and eating. Is it a reward mechanism? Are we making up for stress or trying to substitute love, care and joy with food? You might find it useful to research her work and her methods. Knowing her work helped me to stop emotional snacking (even though I was already on keto), and made intermittent fasting much easier. Proper nutrition is amazing, and if you couple it with emotional awareness and mindfulness tools, you can work wonders as a coach by supporting your clients to heal holistically. Body, mind and spirit are one unit :).
